University of Montana, BSU, and PSU haven't shown any interest. Technically all three have arenas they can use but teams starting out west need deep pockets to fly everywhere to start, hence why it's Pac-12 schools.

100% for that plan. Other than OSU and MSU I'm all for more games against big ten opponents. Penn state succeeding is a good thing as they are seen as a litmus test for expansion. Also potential for more nationally broadcast games. It would only be temporary.

Miami and western have to like this idea. Nchc should make a power move and do it on their terms.

MN only has success recruiting the young future draft picks. They never have Cagguila or Stetcher types that come in unheralded and leave with a pro contract. The only example I can think of is Haula and he was at least a late round pick. That won't cut it these days. They take recruiting for granted, maybe due to an ethnocentric bias. They are going to be the most harmed by Wisconsin's recruiting resurgence too. Madtown > Dinkytown

BU was garbage in 13-14 but came back strong the next year. All it took was one player. MN is the same caliber of program that can turn it around that fast. They actually hit the fish in the barrel a few times for their future recruiting classes and while none of them will be Eichel, they won't be a cakewalk. Regardless of opinions, I love seeing the passion back on our end. Here's to hoping their fans reciprocate.

If he's staying at the school it's likely he can afford to be there either way and wasn't ready for the student athlete lifestyle. Happens often in other college sports (less so in D-1) with higher socio-economic background students. He will be the MAN in intramurals! That said it's too bad CC is struggling.
