There was anticipation that Stecher had to go to Utica since he wouldn't have to clear waivers to get there. Canucks lost a D that way last year that made the Blackhawks roster this year. Couldn't let that happen again. He will be first call up and will get lots of ice in the A.

The forums on stream-hd.net have a NCAA hockey weekly listing of links. They always have FSN and FSC games, and I think they've got all nchc games. Always a good place to check as a last resort.
Figured it had to be HC or Bentley. Shocked at the size of HC's endowment, not that it's the best measure of a school's caliber but they can afford to up the ante in hockey. Wonder if the invite would still be extended if it weren't for their program's marquee win...

I played beer league there when I lived in Missoula. It's a great hockey community, just too remote.
University of Montana, BSU, and PSU haven't shown any interest. Technically all three have arenas they can use but teams starting out west need deep pockets to fly everywhere to start, hence why it's Pac-12 schools.
