Depends on how they price tickets. Reasonable prices could attract locals. Scheduling Predators games on the surrounding dates would be wise as well, especially if against MN/WPG/PIT/PHI.
This guy lives in Vegas and apparently has never figured out that how people behave in Vegas is not indicative of their usual self. Hedonistic escapism for the middle class is what Vegas is all about.
They are demonstrating a new approach to expanding college hockey and blazing a trail out west. There's enough "holier than thou" from our fan base as it is. There will be a time down the road when recruits are picking them over us.
The new federal tax code removing write-offs for anything related to entertainment, leisure, recreation, etc. is affecting attendance across the NCAA.
I actually agree with it though, which is rare in this populist movement.
