Mishmash is even further away from being a regular NHL player than Kawaguchi. If Mishmash leaves he will do irreparable harm to his long term chances. If he views European hockey as his future he should leave now. IMHO of course.

What he said. He will be a marginal player in the NHL/AHL at his current ability level. He needs more development and the best place for that is UND not minor league hockey. Just overall will be better for him.

Wonder who the DMan was that I remember on the PP.

I believe it was 2007 when Sioux played here in Denver in the West Regional. Opened up in a wide open affair with Michigan winning I believe 7-5. It was back and forth with Travis Roche leading our PP. I was sitting among some very arrogant Michigan fans. Next up was the Gophers who we beat in OT. Somebody tell me who scored the winner but I think it was Chris Porter. Anyway one of the best weekends of my life!

With all the injuries the Avs hav had recently, Jost has been promoted up to the 2nd line and been out there a lot on the PP and PK. Has scored some and generally been a much more confident player. Getting rave reviews from the local Avs fans during this stretch after being on the trade bubble for a few weeks.

Anybody remember Nick Naumenko? He could control a game from the blue line. We have had so many great defenseman over the years. Hard to remember all of them. Last few years with Ladue, Stecher, Tucker and Colton Poolman - we have been lucky to see all of them over the years. I enjoyed the physical guys like McWilliams, Smaby, Greene, Schneider too.

Cary Eades played on that 1980 team. Ludwig and Casey also. Looked like almost the whole team must have come back for the reunion.

Who are the guys from 1980 on the ice? Anybody know some of the names?

Marriott in Aksarben. The guys hang around the lobby a lot and can probably track down Guch for you. I have stayed there several times when the team is in town and they are always staying there.
