Fargo residents complaining about all the strip malls...feel like I've heard that before. Valley News Live: Why so many empty strip malls in Fargo

North Dakota Athletics Town Hall: May 7, 2024

I mean they are called season tickets. It's a dilemma for every game. If it makes anyone feel better. Just pretend the season is just one game longer. If they decide to cancel that last game (cause they didn't make it): You paid $0. That said, I don't like it either. They just give you an entire free season after so many playoff misses? Alerus Center concession vouchers? Menards rebate? Never a fan of mandatory borrowing money. -
Went down to the greenway couple weeks ago. First thing I saw was a homeless guy sleeping on a park bench.

What am I missing? There's lot of non hockey players on the site. https://www.siouxshop.com/authentics/

Some of us seem to be forgetting that a "collective" isn't some sort of end game. The Red Pepper can still do those things. The collective can help collaborate this if RP needs help and wants a "one stop shop" to make this happen. As the name indicates, a collective, is an opportunity for small players to enter the field. And if anyone wants, they can make another UND collective. Sorta like the SiouxShop.... "supporting NIL"....just not needing call it a "collective"... cause that would be weird. Nomenclature still trying to catch up: "Proud NIL Supporter of UND Athletics"?

This Red River grad is being sued by Elon Musk. Talk about a feather in your cap. Hey Greg, I know a university that could really use a nice size donation to their athletic department.

Does Fordville still put on the hillclimb? If not, does anyone know where the nearest hillclimb is this summer?

Not hard to find quality comedy in GF, the town has a long storied tradition of great comics coming to town. This upcoming Friday:

Unfortunately for you. I heard this is sold out. Edit: oops, I think that was another event this last Saturday to add to all the others (PBR, Sawyer Brown, etc).
-
Hard to believe the Alerus Center didn't pass on the first vote! Who were the fun haters back them?!
-
Too many events nowadays, PBR, Sawyer Brown, and UND Ball all on the same night...and the circus?! This weekend is Monster Trucks!

Dang. It's in Minnesota. So not the correct thread. There's a new bar in the works in Moorhead. Called Starbird Lounge. (Airplane mode) Just happens, I recently got into tiki. So I'll be curious to see what its like. Also sad 2 see the iconic Psycho Suzi's closed in Minneapolis. But now I see I have to check out: Rum Row and Tilted Tiki in Stillwater. Don't watch Spikes Breezeway Cocktail Hour on youtube. It's not good for the waistline.

Hak has had an amazing NHL coaching career. I was surprised to hear just how short lived virtually all NHL coaches are. They seem to just enjoy rotating them. Of course, like at UND, just missing those deep playoff runs. (Don't @ me. Deep 2 me is Natty or runner up.)

Exactly. Maybe it's outdated. But use to be popular outside grocery stores during the summer in my day.

They might start construction in half a decade from now if the car washes are successful. https://www.grandforksherald.com/news/local/grand-forks-47th-avenue-interchange-approved-by-federal-highway-administration

Confirmed. It sold out last year. I believe this is the biggest PBR event that comes to North Dakota and Minnesota. As always, can't beat $15 nose bleed seats. (Save fees. buy at Alerus). See ya there tomorrow.

Preliminary Summer of 2156 https://www.wdayradionow.com/news/regional-news/75563-new-i-29-interchange-to-be-built-in-grand-forks I'd bet they still don't have the money. And are probably thinking of having a car wash for a fundraiser.

Like Qdoba use to be? Or maybe my hands are just getting bigger.

Anyone tried the new Chicago Burritos?

So did the Professional Bull Riding (PBR) at the Alerus get too big over the last few years and now they felt like they had to open the other side of the arena? All the former years the entire audience (90%) sat looking straight on to the "main stage." Now virtually the entire audience has to look crank their head to see the "main stage." This is usually how things go...get big...change to accomodate...then people stop going...wonder why no one comes anymore... I'll save ya some time "Old man yells at clouds."

Very unimpressed last time I was there. On the other hand, just had the fajita quesadillas at Casa Mexico in EGF: orgasmic. Side note: this is racing celebrity Scott Bloomquist eating at Casa Mexico. Clips of his appearance on Dale Jr Download are available on youtube.

I love the look. The Fighting Hawks logos really pop. Much better than the new university Apts on the other end of campus.
