You sure they signed the card or did they have someone forge it.
Fish. In. Barrel.

Southern Utah's nickname is irrelevant. As is the Ag School's nickname's nickname.
Marketing folks would probably agree with your first statement; however, given the geographic proximity and name similarity of the schools (both contain "North Dakota") the marketing folks would more that likely disagree with your second statement.

These ideas all need vetting. I just wish folks wouldn't rehash the ones that have been vetted already.

- their fans would all commit hari kari.

Spunds about right. Did hockey season start already? ?
Shouldn't you be worrying about losing to purple kitties?

I think the fans would go ape over that Sasquatch name
Masterfully played.

I feel like I'm repeating myself:
North Stars? You mean the state motto of ... Minnesota?
Southern Utah is the Thunderbirds. And then say Thunderbirds and then that "thundering herd" thing. Too close; too confusing.

Hey Doug, 1984 called...they want their moustache back...
I thought he'd mugged Dale Lennon.

I like the evening games. ... it doesn't blow the whole day for me and lets me get a few things done in the morning and early afternoon.
And the congregations all says, "AMEN! Preach on Brother Bin!"

Uh ... I'm sure opposing fans would have a lot of fun with our womens teams ...
PS - As soon as UND does this a colony of squatch ... squatches? squaters? squatchi? squish? ... will actually be found and will declare the moniker hostile and abusive.

The number grew in the last week..... $285,001,173
It grew in a week a little over $10 million ... I'm guess that's primarily the Hamm/Continental donation for engineering.

Yes, I've known sophomores and juniors on the hockey team to live in Walsh. And yes, word spread pretty quickly when there are emergency vehicles outside (and cops inside) Walsh Hall.
"dogs", please remember that what the Herald article says is fractionally true, what the police report says is fractionally true, what you heard from your sources is fractionally true.
Rather than trying to piece together the whole story from all the fractions I'll trust Brian Faison. He dropped the hammer on four captains and three other players. Faison tapped the whole team with his hammer too. I'm going to believe Faison didn't accidentally miss Forbort.

Ojuri has a history of minor infractions, mostly about window tint, and i believe one suspended licence charge. I feel his case warranted a suspension.
3 charges of No driver's license in possession
2 charges of Vehicle with window tint not to be used
1 charge of No seat belt
1 charge of No vehicle registration
and
1 charge (class A misdemeanor) Voter fraud
And then there's the "locker room thing" that got him off the team for a year.

In related news, alabama has a scholarship offer out to a high school student charged in two separate counts of rape, and from what i gather from the espn comments section, of his sister and cousin.
Please don't tell me that's the standard NDSU hopes to achieve.

Derek Forbort, a junior, and other older members of the team gathered in the hallway to find out what was happening, Sevigny said. Told that another officer was trying to call Athletic Director Brian Faison, Forbort asked why he “had to contact Faison.”
When did "they" gather in the hallway? There's no timeline given other than the series of events starting about 8 pm.
And there's nothing about being "summoned". It says "they" (who is "they" because the article doesn't define it) gathered to see what was happening.
Forbort is 20. He talked directly to a cop. Think about that and then think that he didn't get cited for minor consuming like the freshmen did.

Again, no go.
Why?
There's the former "North Dakota Agricultural College" that uses that "thunder" term to refer to their teams, as in "thundering herd".

Doesn't the NCAA take a serious disliking to hazing incidents? By Faison getting out in front of this and and doing all the things he has done will this keep the NCAA at bay or not? Could that be the real motive behind what has happened so far?
From the Herald article:
Forbort also told her “it wasn’t an initiation party but a party that had gotten a little out of hand,” (UPD Officer) Sevigny said.

Last year UND went from the Atlantic (NJ Tech) to the Gulf (Houston) to the Pacific (Poly and Davis for FB plus CSU-Bakersfield) in the Great West.
In the Big Sky, UND's conference travel footprint has gone from a continent to less than half a continent.
