Looks like Sparty and the Domers on BTN tonight.

IIHF Wonk #1: What if the game is tied after regulation?
IIHF Wonk #2: Well, how about we play a completely new game? Different strategies and different number of players to decide the original game?
IIHF Wonk #1: So we play futbol to decide hockey?
IIHF Wonk #2: No, instead of 5x5 we play 3x3!
IIHF Wonk #1: BRILLIANT!

Back when you could go FAR to DTW it was two legs.

I can look at IHTINB's table (objective analytics), but looking at bracketology (subjective) this far out is just noise to me. Sorry. YMMV.

Canada wins it
Apparently the officials missed a lot of too many men calls on the Canadian opponent.

You're complaining about Fenton being absent yet you want him to be the conference lead for all sports except for football?
The logic next outcome is beyond '97 at times.

Heard the Gov say as much in person last week.

Pac 12? That's mighty ambitious
It ain't your daddy's PAC. Only remnants are WasSU and OrSU.
The Montanas want that west coast exposure (athletes and students).

Given Miami was just here and we go to Western Michigan in a week, Chaves and Armacost should be talking permanent MAC membership.
(Sac paid $18M for a five-year slot when you read and dig deep.)

Would take the Ruck Twins at North Dakota for 2026-27 or 2027-28. They're tearing up the Dub for Medicine Hat
Causing a ... ruck-us ... are they?

Six points this weekend would eliminate DU.
Yes. Hence OMN is 6.
10 minutes ago, DL Sioux said:Six points this weekend ... Western would still have a shot to tie us if they took six points the final weekend. (If my math is correct)
Yes. That's why their OMN is 7. Really would like CC to scrape a point or two off WMU this weekend.
But, UND needs to take of its business with SCSU first.-

IRC, wasn’t it a UND sweep of SCSU and DU not getting six points in their last series? I thought someone posted that.
The outright title magic numbers going into the weekend were 11 and 12.
UND got 5; the others did not lose points, hence 6 and 7.

Congrats to Czechia on scoring on the US; Canada hang your head.-

The US is on a record-breaking heater the past year but that doesn't diminish the gains made by other countries which will narrow the gap.
The US is up a cumulative 31-1 score going to the gold medal game.

Magic number to a Penrose:
DU 6
WMU 7Any combo of points earned by UND or lost by (DU/WMU) totaling that number gets UND an outright Penrose.

Misogynistic would've been predicting "last".
The women's game is in a terrible position. There's not enough competition worldwide. This (Olympic competitioin) should build it but it hasn't notably yet (see: US or Canada will win; I heard on radio US in prelims outscored opponents 26-1). I find the present womens game slow so I quit watching.

I've given up watching and was stating why.

When mentioning the Montanas and moving up I think folks forget each would have to add sports as they are under the FBS required 16.
