So, steal the St. John's (NY) model: Red Men Storm
-
"L'Etoile du nord" (Star of the North, aka North Star) is the State motto of ... Minnesota. As I've said, why not be the "Rushmores" ... stealing the motto of "The Mount Rushmore State", South Dakota.

No, he's going to ask a lot of tough questions about this: http://www.ndus.edu/uploads/resources/5540/2013-14-tuition-waiver-report.pdf

The 2014-2015 NHL Non-Penguins Non-Bruins Thread
The Sicatoka replied to MafiaMan's topic in Non-collegiate sports
So no B-word or no P-word? This thread may get Wild. I also bet that no Canucks (that's slang for Canadien) will become Kings of this thread. If they do I'll have to sing the Blues. For you Flyers out there: Is it true that Lightning has never taken down any Jets? I may have to write a letter to the Capitals and ask the Senators. Then again, they may be dealing with an Avalanche of issues relating to Oilers and after train wrecks, Flames. -
... but aren't we all?
-
Bartender, I'll have what he's having, but don't make it a double like his.
-
So I guess the Bakken isn't the only big thing in North Dakota.

Invoicing customers?

The only comment I can make is: Do you want a town with a college (or two or three) or a college town? One man's opinion (and clearly the only that matters to me): If you're going to college, you're going to college; the town around it doesn't matter. (I say town to put it in relation to kids looking at either from major cities.)

Careful: an ultimatum like that might be exactly what Kelley wants --> a one man, his man, committee.

To me the NDSU campus has never, and still not today, felt like a campus but moreso a bunch of happenstance buildings in north Fargo. If feels like an office park with a bunch of disparate buildings. UND has a theme to its architecture. It has a traditional (old east coast) campus feel.

Not sure how this got to be a construction thread; however: Summary of projects from the GF Herald: http://www.grandforksherald.com/news/3659153-construction-still-ongoing-und-first-project-expected-be-completed-fall A summary from UND: http://und.edu/features/2014/08/under-construction.cfm The Projects ongoing: Med School: http://www.med.und.edu/construction/ Law School: http://law.und.edu/build/ Wilkerson was already mentioned. The Indoor Training Facility. Proposed The Collaborative Energy Complex is close to starting construction. The proposed new tower out at Aerospace was mentioned. The Gorecki Alumni Center is up and running. The UND campus core tries to stay traditional Gothic architecture. The campus periphery (e.g. CAS) goes more modern. To say it is unpleasant to the eye has me referring whomever to the optometrist.

Indubitably.

That bracket has two from the B1G in it. That's what I don't see happening.

The J-E-T-S had to make cap space for the $70 million deal for Revis.
-
Given the recent trends, I'd have to agree with you.
-
And I'm still scratching my head at the trade NO and SEA made.
-
To me the bigger mess is Umdonkeykong Sue to the Dade County Mammalian Fish. That team needs much more than one big contract for one DT.
-
That tells me that Chip Kelly has a different plan in mind. < sounds of Ducks quacking here > What doesn't make sense is the money. I figured Philly to try to clear cap space. Doesn't Bradford have a ridiculous contract compared to Foles? Or is STL paying some of the money due?

MM? Mike Modano? No, wait, you mean MafiaMan. Nevermind.
-
I said it elsewhere: T-wolves bring back KG. Twins bring back Torii Hunter. When should I expect the announcements of the glorious returns of Duante Culpepper and Mike Modano? Twins you ask. I say the over and under is 88.5. <-- That's not wins; that's losses.

Three goal comeback to tie, just to give up an 80 foot dump in ... and lose. So goes the Winnipeg Jets.

Yes, we're being over-run by 'emoters': those governed by how they feel about something, not logic, how they believe or perceive something, not fact. And emoters, by their very nature, are impossible to sway from their "I know I'm right because I can ... feel ... it" positions with reason, logic, or fact. The problem? The emoters have somehow taken over.

Isn't that called "an average Tuesday"?

I remember too many March Sunday afternoon drives to Grand Forks to ever feel good about first round series.
