109 of 308 on the Portal list are "Sr", meaning guys with a Covid year to burn. That's the last group with the extra (Covid) year.

Yeah, but you paid for it by all the time on the couch.

Hak too was the nice assistant but under "headmaster" Blais. Hak's toughest transition (from asst to HC) was from nice guy to "headmaster". Hak made the transition after the Judy's incident*. Hak became a better coach after that. Judy's had Hak prepared for "Columbia lawnmower toss" (followed by a DUI) and strong enough to relieve a guy from the team which was hard but correct. One could argue Jon Toews and TJ Oshie made Hak an NHL coach, but not by on-ice but by off-ice performance. Berry could learn from that: you don't need be loved, just respected. *not speculation; I know who was one of Hak's sensei at that time.

Lobby? No. Office; waiting for the next patient to arrive to advise.

I forgot: - the Blais predicate (two equal guys, play the younger to see if he'll develop further).

True or False: The restaurant / food service industry is high churn.

If you're going to get caught betting on your team, at least let it be to win.
-
True, but I do wonder about (as Hoops brings up) the ROI.

Moore is from CT; Benoit is from NH; not surprised where they landed (the Q). Emerson is from NY; thought he'd land better than 'mack. Or maybe that's a tell.

If I were Berry's sensei: - end being the friend; time to be coach (and task master) first - leave the 6/6 mindset; get to 9/3 - it's OK to win by 3 or more, winning by 1 is harder so make it easier on the team And finally, grow them in the 'R' months, sort them in the 'Y' months, with focus on crescendo in the "H and L" months.

If/when the great split happens, Memphis will be one of the very last to catch the lifeboat but likely will just the same.

We'll never know if "mattress Cam" or Grant "Nodak Insurance" Nelson made a difference, one way or the other.

Under NIL what SMU fans did for the "Pony Express" back in the day would be all legal. Back then SMU Football got the NCAA "death penalty".

So say you, Gordon Ramsey?

Either way, short of being a stakeholder in the transaction, we have no right to know the details of the private transaction unless the parties choose to disclose.

FedEx put out a press release about their contribution. They chose to disclose what they did. Doesn't say who's getting what.

Mandating 14 (FCS) or 16 (FBS) is intentionally fiscally predatory, separating bigs from not. NIL exacerbates that. This fiscal disparity will force the NCAA to relook at division membership, namely a play what you can afford model. And yes, that's the death of many Olympic type collegiate sports.

Maaaaaaybe as part of an advertizing budget.

I donate to UNDAA&F because it's organized as a North Dakota nonprofit corporation, is exempted from federal income tax liability by Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) and qualifies as a public charity. <- tax write-off A NIL collective is not a charity so no write-off.

Pay-for-Play? Minor Professional?
-
You didn't realize this NIL stuff is just to widen the gap between the bigs and the rest?

2024-25 University of North Dakota Hockey Season
The Sicatoka replied to Frozen4sioux's topic in Men's Hockey
I'd rather a top nine (expected to score) and a grind. DU had 11 guys with 30+ points; UND had 4. The mindset needs to be more than "up one with 20 to play is good enough".
