Hold a loaded gun to the belly of a pregnant woman. Sexually assault the mother of your three kids.

I'll agree with this. I'm tired of some of the antics. But, really, seriously, my choice is Biden, Ye*, or Trump <-- mumps, measles, or chicken pox. Given those choices I'll take what I've had because I know what to expect. *Assumes Kanye West made it onto ND ballot in time.

A cult member has to not listen to or speak with anyone outside the group lest they be exposed to non-cult beliefs. I'd say folk here having dialog with you Hayduke utterly refutes your "cult" accusation.
-
C'mon Hayduke, you know how to read a story. Here are the key words from the headline and article: reportedly associate a friend What words don't you see in there? the name(s) of the source(s) Those criteria apply to any (alleged) news article I read.

All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others* *A proclamation by the pigs who control the government in the novel Animal Farm, by George Orwell. The sentence is a comment on the hypocrisy of governments that proclaim the absolute equality of their citizens but give power and privileges to a small elite.

Does the President of the United States wield medical healing powers I am unaware of? The way some talk here he should have healed COVID, his brother, and who knows what else. Frankly, the President sitting beside hours on end in a hospital is a risk to the hospital, the patients, and the President, pandemic or normal times.

5 million confirmed cases. 328 million Americans. 1.5% of the population confirmed to have it. 168,000 US deaths.<-- 3.36% of confirmed cases (so far) 168,000 US deaths <-- 0.051% of US population 512 deaths per 1 million US population*, and for your comparisons https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/deaths.htm *51 deaths per 100,000 to compare to CDC numbers as use per 100k. Here's a good one from CDC: Infant Mortality rate: 5.79 deaths per 1,000 live births <-- that's 579 deaths per 100,000 live births! Being born alive (579) is 10x more dangerous than Covid-19 (51) per 100k.

Seems the Big XII is still a go with a "9+1" model. https://big12sports.com/news/2020/8/12/2020-big-12-football-conference-schedule-announced.aspx

Is that like a governor "blowing off" the First Amendment? "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; ... " I'm Catholic; my religion says I must attend mass. How do you do that when the governor says you can't have mass. " ... prohibiting the free exercise thereof ... "

Montreal: The best team in Pennsylvania?

Winner of game three wins that series.

That's gone. Kaput. Fuggidabowdit. Normal will be whatever the CDC and your state's governor says it is. And you'll like it and comply or they'll hammer you with force of law. Don't believe me? Look up how casinos are open in Nevada, but not churches. (Only one of those shows up in Amendment 1.) https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/24/us/supreme-court-nevada-church-coronavirus.html “The world we inhabit today, with a pandemic upon us, poses unusual challenges, but there is no world in which the Constitution permits Nevada to favor Caesars Palace over Calvary Chapel.”- Justice Neil M. Gorsuch writing for the dissenting There is no world in which ... unless you are the governor of Nevada.

I sure as < bleep > ain't taking no Russian vax they licensed this week. Heck, I probably won't take anything before a third generation vax.

If TB loses today, and if they lose Game 3 also, they lose the series. Book it. In the picture below, Tampa's in blue, Columbus has the big ears.

I believe you are vastly overestimating how well the average person is paying attention. As far as goalposts been moved, yes, agree. The initial curve was flattened. The medical system had their preparation time. Now they behave as if the goal is zero, as if they don't want any cases? Unrealistic. Virus gonna virus. As far as "endgame" ... this is merely round one in a great game of social herding Simon says. Next thing they'll tell us wearing an onion on our belt* will ward off the virus ... and there'll be a run on Walla Walla sweets, and people who wear kohlrabi (close but not right, like a mask that doesn't cover your nose), and others with nothing (the anti-veggers). *If only @PCM were here for that reference.

Well, we finally found something bigger than Nebraska Football --> The Big Ten. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/nebraska-says-its-fully-committed-to-big-ten-conference-despite-2020-college-football-season-cancellation/

Their miracle goalie is regressing to the mean.

"Flatten the curve." That does not say "no deaths". It does not say "no more spreading". Flatten the curve was good persuasion-speak. It sounds good, like you're helping. But the true motive behind it was to slow the spread* until the medical world understood ugly truths like hospitalization rates and mortality rates. Most people were and are not smart enough to realize the curve that was being flattened ... was hospital admissions. Most people aren't smart enough to realize the area under the curve will end up being the same, ... because virus gonna virus. *Notice they didn't go with "Slow the spread" as the mantra. Why? Not persuasive. It admits we're not stopping, only slowing, and it will spread.

Well, you need a director of player development: Ryan Johnson https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ryan_Johnson_(ice_hockey,_born_1976)
