  1. Succinctly ... "What emails? What letters? Never got them." ... would be a legitimate response.
  2. ... on Tuesdays, during a waxing lunar cycle, with less than 50% chance of precip in the next 36 hours. This constant shifting is what poker players call "a tell". This tell is that they really have no idea. Um, Ox, some lady named "Kristi" from Pierre calling from South Dakota for you. Line 1.
  3. Defenses look for that on film. If they know you're not a receiving threat they nearly ignore coverage.
  4. Ouch. "Mother Jones" mag makes AOC look like Ronald Reagan.
  5. 150,000 livelihoods for how many lives? https://www.npr.org/sections/coronavirus-live-updates/2020/10/20/925811935/ireland-to-impose-six-week-national-lockdown-estimates-150-000-job-losses The Ireland approach, is this logical?
  6. Uh-huh ... KEY WORDS: " ... in service to the film's overall plot ..." <-- movie scene? The only thing wrong in that statement is the claim a Sasha Baron Cohen film has a plot. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/borat-subsequent-moviefilm-film-review <-- The Hollywood Reporter is no friend of Trump.
  7. In a word: Yes. I'd say maybe half, maybe, will. The spring lockdown? I'd see kids out and playing (as I had an essential worker provision because of a relationship with an essential service).
  8. Well then I guess Stormy got ... Nevermind.
  9. If the claim (Hunter Biden with 14 y/o relative nude pics) is true ... how exactly did the Russians produce that?
  10. Who exactly enforces that? Kids sent home from school to "quarantine" surely aren't enforced as you've acknowledged.
  11. Thank you ...
  12. Seasonal flu shot equals ... death? Well, nine times in South Korea so far. https://news.trust.org/item/20201021095649-t5lbe
  13. What happened to this year's seasonal flu?
  14. Source: https://www.health.nd.gov/diseases-conditions/coronavirus/north-dakota-coronavirus-cases Population: 760,077 Total Processed Tests: 782,486 Unique Individuals: 275,596 We've tested more than the state population because of retests, so we look at retests and realize we've tested one third of the state. Interesting. And to all that I say: A test is a single backward-looking data point. It's valuable at that instant only, because the person could walk away and pick it up 10 minutes after the test.
  15. Ah ... "friction". If an DLC hat is in the store and you're walking by: easy. If you have to actively seek it out online, there's a little extra friction in the purchase.
  16. Dare I say, if you never got tested ... what quarantine.
  17. Word of the Day: Pandemic - (adj) (a disease) prevalent over a whole country or the world; or, (noun) an outbreak of a pandemic disease. Please note that word, pandemic, refers solely to the scope, and not the severity, of said disease.
  18. Dare I say the "daily data" is not normalized, so it's easy to hold back results for a few days and ... WHAMO! ... really big number reported.
  19. Again I ask ... Getting tested and found positive does exactly what for you?
  20. A cynic would ask ... "Who's making the money on the testing?"
  21. Because to retain the trademarks they have to be periodically used in commerce?
  22. Like I said, the Midwest locked down in spring and the Northeast (NY, NJ) burned. Well, virus gonna virus, and it's our turn to burn.
  23. I'm telling ya, if I think I had it I'd stay home, drink lots of water, watch my pulse ox*, and treat as the flu**. To get tested is the LAST place I'd go. Simple question: Getting tested and found positive does exactly what for you? *From the docs I talk to that's the tell-tale indicator. **Strangely enough, that's how I treat every viral flu.
  24. What folks are forgetting or not seeing in the present situation is that the virus is burning through the population as it will. Why are numbers in the NE low relative to the Midwest? Well, when the NE burned in spring, the Midwest locked down. Now that the Midwest is opened up, ... it's our turn. Virus gonna virus. Welcome to the viral Disco Inferno.
