  1. Ditka. Da Bears.
  2. That's an interesting take. That injury could take out two potential championship seasons.
  3. You do realize that falls on deaf ears as you say it leaning against a full trophy case.
  4. Stone (LVK) Marchand (BOS) Marner (TOR) Huberdeau (FLA) Rantanen (COL) Aho (CAR) Makar (COL) Hamilton (CAR) Reilly (TOR) Martinez (VGK)
  5. Pio becomes Tiger? That's as bad as Gopher goes to UND (Dean Blais).
  6. SDSU 1 UND 0 UND eliminated
  7. UNO 5, UND 0 Final And of course #4 UMKC beat #1 SDSU to start the day so #6 UND gets #1 SDSU yet today in an elimination game.
  8. Looking like they're going to need another six-unanswered comeback ... Good thing for this part of the bracket being double elimination.
  9. Well I'll be: - win a Summit Tourney game as the 6 over the 3 (NDSU) - six-run unanswered comeback https://fightinghawks.com/news/2021/5/12/softball-no-6-und-rallies-for-6-5-win-over-no-3-ndsu-in-summit-league-tournament.aspx
  10. Hornbacher's is now owned by Coborn's. Coborn’s operates 53 supermarkets in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Illinois and Wisconsin under the Coborn’s, Cash Wise Foods, Marketplace Foods and Save-A-Lot banners. You're telling me Hugo's ran them out of town? I'd say WalMart and SuperTarget did the deed.

  12. It's ba-a-a-ack. The rules are going back to the same as 2017 and 2018 and 2019. (The 2020 rules were an outlier based on a 24 team field.) pick six (6) forwards pick four (4) defensemen straight POINTS, not goals, POINTS (G + A) scored by your ten players in the four rounds to the Cup determines winner no more than five (5) players from a single NHL team on your team Teams must be in before first playoff puck drop. And as before, I'm not going to have much time to track scores; I'll need help with it. Thanks to everyone in advance.
  13. Wow. They take the hot name (UMass assistant, RPI alumnus) over the Maine alumnus, former assistant, and interim head coach.
  14. Chris Drury drops the hammer: David Quinn out as HC of NYR.
  15. Otis Weah - First Team Associated Press All-American Nathan Nguon - Second Team Associated Press All-American https://www.dailyherald.com/article/20210512/sports/305129912/ < tips cap to Otis and Nathan >
  16. Sabres ... dulled. Devils ... exorcised Blue Jackets ... given to Goodwill Red Wings ... clipped Ducks ... plucked Flyers ... forgot their masks and vaccination cards and not allowed to board the aircraft Senators ... censured Blackhawks ... down Rangers ... penned in Sharks ... Martin Brody'd Stars ... collapsed into a black hole Coyotes ... hit by giant Acme anvil dropped by a roadrunner Kings ... abdicated Flames ... extinguished Canucks ... deported to the US
  17. We started this season short at defense and ended up adding a pair at the end. And this forwards list has one conspicuous name absent this season: Toews.
  18. What I have confirmed so far ... 20. I think this fits here. More awards for Mr. Weah. https://fightinghawks.com/news/2021/5/10/football-otis-weah-named-stats-perform-fcs-first-team-all-american.aspx
  21. I just realized we're well on our way for my ... "Killer Zs" ... or ... Should they be called the "Dream Line" because you get lots of Zs ... I'll show myself out ...
  22. Fifth year players put a bulge in the recruiting pipeline that is hard to work through. Ponder: eight seniors, three early signees, and a portal departure. That's 12 to replace. That's too many "freshies" on a roster. UND got away with it this time because of Covid and the portal option to ... stealing a phrase "flatten the curve" of the bulge.
  23. Jordan Kawaguchi's 24th birthday was last week. At that age, he wasn't coming back; if he did, the Moldin' Rodents fans would be right --> 24 year old Canadians!
  24. The terms "senior" and "sophomore" have lost their meaning with this strange new world of "extra year", so I think I get what you're trying to say. It's like the roster should list "current eligibility year" or "eligible years after this season".
  25. It's the happiest week of the year on NDUS campuses: It's FINALS WEEK! So what? So it's the time that next year's captains and expected roster are rolled out shortly hereafter.
