If the spring SIU team were to show up it could get interesting. Beyond that, meh.

The NCAA knows you have to be built to beat NDSU (meaning line of scrimmage) and few teams are, so they guaranteed NDSU to have to face such a team at least once.

Per Massey Ratings today (11/22/21): The first non-playoff team (at 14 in Massey) is also the first team with a losing record. Put another way, Massey has that team rated better than 11 of the 24 team field. That team? You guessed it.

The completion is made. Otis runs it in with 0:09 on the clock. UND wins. UND still stays home on Selection Sunday because UNI defeated SDSU, and SIU, and Sac State. Convince me otherwise.

We're all guilty of seeing what we want to see; some call it "two movies on one screen". Is there a consulting group out there that could objectively review a team after a season and give their report card about how well the team did "administrative" game day things; for example, time out management, clock management, play calling (as in getting in quickly, not specific calls), personnel substitutions, etc.

You trying to put the stink eye hex jinx on us?

Derek Forbort: another UND natural born sniper at defense.

Give me the four point lead and I’ll risk it.

You’ve asked if he’s allowed to audible. Is he allowed to call time out? If he’s not, why.
-
But it’s the truth: the OL leads the way.

Tell me about your offensive line and I’ll tell you about your season. I learned that from Bison fan @CAS4127. And given he’s UND Law grad I can accept it.

Never read the Twitter timeline of someone with pronouns in their bio.

Only silver lining? I don’t believe the committee would’ve put UND in over 6-5 UNI. They beat SDSU, SIU, and SacSt. A win and a no bid would hurt worse.
-
The 360 guys tweeted that Otis was open in the flat. We’ll never know if stopping and taking a collective breath would’ve helped the QB relax and go through the progressions instead of throwing to a receiver with four bunnies around him.

If they can’t catch that is no help.
-
That was well done. On what should have been the winning drive the error was admitted and acknowledged.
-
Those aren’t answers. Those are sad facts.

After UND got the lead and a late Duluth power play I saw two overt penalties on Duluth not get called but then UND should’ve been called for boarding shortly after. And then there was a third no call on Duluth after that. I still say the second referee should be in the press box. They’d be wireless to the on ice to call live penalties, and replays would go faster. Plus we could keep experienced officials around longer if they didn’t have to skate at game pace but could instead be upstairs.

That look is horrific for college hockey.

After the NDSU call, and burning a TO coming out of half time, and not managing a late eleven point lead, and not having a second FG kicker available, is that Bubba’s admission that he has mismanaged the game during every conference loss this season? Or is it his retirement resignation speech?
-
Or should that be … Gophers weak. Either way it’s the third straight home opponent with uniforms stained in bloody stool and dehydrated urine.

That has to kill the “N Dakta St” fans. (That’s how ESPN+ lists them. )

Question asked on page 133 of thread debating issue. A rift in the fan base is not helping.

Lack of continuity of branding of UND Athletics.
