If Pohlkamp "goes further west" I'd take that as a tell that Buium is gone from DU.

The leading goal scorer on Cedar Rapids has 14 goals in 55 games, he had 8 in 14 games and still leads Cedar Rapids in points per game. I don’t believe Penticton’s leaders average a whole lot more either. Don’t know a 4th year of juniors will be an advantage when he has already put up good numbers in previous years. Now if there are lingering injury issues, that might be another story, but it is going to be hard to crack our lineup for even well seasoned Junior players. People surprise you, I don’t think many had Johannes as a key player coming into this year.
Littler's dad has hockey connections and hockey smarts. If he moved mid-season there's good reason.

Not having Pyke was more and more exposed as the game wore on.

The program fundamentals are fine but it’s time for the next generation to lead.
Bubs could be the dad of … the coaches of Denver and Michigan. He should not be being nice dad to his players. He should be coach. Hak learned that lesson in the Judy’s parking lot.

One, two, three, and the team with tons of talent that got on a heater at the right time.

Rare do I age with Bruce Ciskie but he is right about: get there and hope for good luck.

I hear Duke and Duke and think of Dan Aykroyd, Eddie Murphy, and Jaime Lee Curtis. Thirsty for orange juice.

BC was dead for fifteen minutes.

Puck wasn’t there: interference.

Blake’s body is not pro ready. He should learn from dad … and Tyson Jost.

Factoid of the day: Jason Blake played four seasons of college hockey.

Yes - we have Karl on staff who should be great at developing goalies - yet we can't seem to recruit a blue chipper and have had nothing but portal goalies lately. What gives? I thought with him we would have solid goaltending every year. Ludwig definitely went downhill from the first half of the season.
Heil is supposed to be that guy.

My guesses?
Persson goes; go to portal for a clear one-year rental. My guess? Dom Basse (nee CC and SCSU).
Forwards out: Gaber, Ness, Johannes, Albrecht, Emerson, Monty. Six open slots. In come Croal, Swanson, Boisvert, Littler, then go to the portal for size and a faceoff guy.
Defense? I think the five eligible return and in come Strathmann, Jubenvill, and Emery.
That's a 15/8/3 26-man roster. If there's 27th slot this year I'd think it'd be an insurance one-year portal D.
I was bold enough to throw out a name at G (Basse).
My wish list for two Fs? Harrison Israels (6', 200, scorer, Alaska) and Logan Will (faceoff guy, CC). Both would be one-year rentals.
If there was a portal D? No idea.

Construct your roster so that there are spots for guys like Montgomery X2 when looking at the F group. Two F’s that will only play in case of injuries. Great teammates, but have their role.
I get what you're saying, but I want F14 and F15 to be pushing to be F11 and F12, not just happy to be in the room.

But Panda's price for what you get is better than most drive-up options.
McD, BK, and the rest, they've priced me away.

I would hope they wouldn’t. The question I would pose is what Fr. would not develop because of the addition. What if Emerson got the minutes Ness / Albrecht got this year. Come March, what kind of impact could he have had? We’ll never know.
Would you give up Cam Berg to find what could've been with Emerson.

NCAA playoffs with tents and portapotties (Nichols, FB) and now 2500 seats.
Makes ya wonder if its coincidence ... or more.

After the regional semis my take is BC at 90% cruises to the title.

No Pyke; Gaber looked 80%; Persson was out for a couple weeks.
Wonder if Schloss will tell us the "whys" now that it's history.
