OTT did not play DET. DET played Montreal and DET beat them in OT.
Then "whiskey tango" was the highlight they were running on NHL Network when I got home ... < sigh > ...

North Dakota Athletics Town Hall 5.7.24 - University of North Dakota Athletics (fightinghawks.com)
I hope many of us can attend this town hall but if not please submit answers here.

PHI needed a regulation win and a DET regulation loss to stay alive. The minute DET/OTT went OT it was against PHI, yet they pull, and WAS wins in regulation while OTT puts down DET in OT. It was a glorious mess of five minutes of clock time.
-
What an NHL glorious mess last night.
PHI pulls not knowing what else was happening in league and "The Osh" scores the ENG to put WAS into playoffs.
Sanderson gets an apple on Stutzle's OT baseball swing (belt high slider) goal to knock DET out.

The other place Carle would make sense: Utah (nee Arizona Coyotes).
Fresh start for everyone and again a roster full of young talent.
-
Carle to BUF and that talented young roster makes too much sense. Carle just seems to connect with that age group.
Would David consider brother Matt (11 NHL seasons) as an assistant?

u missed my point.......when was the last time und had a defensive guy/crew that opposing cake eaters are / wree afraid of?
maybe like others have said...are we the new cake eaters?
Tyler Kleven. That got us an unceasing stream of PIMs.
The game has changed. Big hits along boards get reviews. Any open ice hit where someone goes down gets reviewed. You need big solid players but if they get a reputation it'll draw attention and penalties.

Both Klee and Littler have question marks.
- Why'd Littler go back to BC from the USHL?
- Is Klee ready or does he need a top 6 USHL season?
The roster needs two forwards to get back to 15.

It be nice if Tom Miller of the GF Herald would do a Portal Page (like hockey) even if it was just in/out of the MVFC.

What is "old fashioned UND playoff hockey" exactly, assuming it is something other than just better results?
Go back to "old time hockey" and here's a glimpse of Schloss and @Goon and the DS writer trying to record all the PIMs.

My portal predictions:
- UND won't be "most added from portal" this year (three, maybe four, but Merrimack is four already!)
- the Rink Live spreadsheet will have 300+ names by MayUpdate:
- SHU at 7, 'mack at 6, AIC and N'eastern at 5 each <- thinking my prediction here is safe
- spreadsheet at line 300 this morning (two heading lines so 298) <-- feeling safe here -

and IN YOUR FACE Altru - interesting - competition is never bad but this all but seals the deal Sanford is moving into GF in a big big way! Announcement of a new hospital coming soon?;-)? WHILE Altru has their new hospital going up?
Ballsy at the very least but UND seems to be taking advantage of the $$$ - who could blame them?
Sanford purchased a significant parcel of land along I-29 about two years ago.

The days of the "gentlemen's agreement" are long gone.
Yeah, yeah, that was hockey but the concept of not messing with other teams' verbals remains.

There was just Scheel, Feeney, and Thome and when Scheel left and Thome transferred the team went and brought in 3 goalies.
Scheel (jr), Thome (sr), and Feeney became Driscoll, Hellsten, Johnson, and Feeney.
Scheel leaving early was the tripwire. -

If they bring in Heil next year, they still need to bring in Johnson's replacement. Right now, Karl needs to get 2 goalies in the pipeline, and I hope he tried to flip Slukynsky from NMU.
Johnson's replacement will be another servicable, low-cost practice puck eater. (Now make me wrong.)

Most of those lists have both North American and European/Russian skaters.
I ask because if it's an NA only list, double it (projected 20th goes 40th).

It's looking probable or at least possible. Like Tankathon, a bunch of rating services have Boisvert ranked around #20ish amongst draft-eligible players.
All or just North American.
