  1. The Porter Report: 2005-06: 46 games, 46 games played 2004-05: 45 games, 45 games played 2003-04: 41 games, 41 games played
  2. Let's not think narrowly here, not just hockey. Yeah, the MJ guys would hate NCAA hockey north of the border, but there's more at stake than just them.
  3. You mean Tim O'Keefe, former Fighting Sioux defenseman and current Executive VP of the UND Alumni Association and Foundation? Lemme think ....
  4. Whom to believe, whom to believe: Archie Fool Bear, chairman of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe's judicial committee or Don Morrison of Bismarck.
  5. What Doc said.
  6. It gets better. It's no longer "invited to try" but "named to roster"! http://www.fightingsioux.com/sports/mhocke...RELEASE_ID=4859 And get this! Of the first 15 named to the 23 man USA roster Drew is the only guy not on an NHL team!
  7. NCAA News link: Interesting. How about being able to hold the WCHA Final Five in MTS Centre in Winnipeg with U of Manitoba or U of Winnipeg as host? How about having those two in a conference? Or Regina? Or Saskatchewan? Or any on this list?
  8. So, what'll the NCAA come up with now?
  9. Oh Mister Morrrrrrison, http://www.grandforks.com/mld/grandforks/14443237.htm http://www.UND.edu/news/NEW_SCRIPTS/newsrelease.jsp?id=1792
  10. How do y'all think this plays with Myles Brand and Walter Harrison. http://www.grandforks.com/mld/grandforks/14443237.htm
  11. When'd this conversation become about Myles Brand and Walter Harrison? ;)
  12. Rich is a great guy and his energy in a room will be missed. Here's hoping this change re-energizes all involved: - Coach Glas as mentor supreme to Ben - the UND mens basketball program in a new era (Neither is a shot at either. New is exciting; let's hope that excited energy is used as a positive by all along the new paths they follow.)
  13. Nawquiteasgood.
  14. 200? Oh yeah, newsworthy.
  15. I guess Rich Glas just finished writing his two. So, who else has opened which letter?
  16. Six months later. It might be time to look back at how I did projecting the Tom Buning 2005-2006 day-planner. From my original list, it looks like: A1 is being dealt with. A2 has been dealt with. A3 is coming in mere weeks. A4 is coming April 27. I haven't heard much publicly on A5 however, yet. Most of the "B" priority items could be summed up under "Athletics Facilities Master Plan" to be worked on this summer, with the exception of .... B3 has probably become an A priority. And then there's this wacko and his crazy notion that he first hinted at in B6.
  17. Well lookee there, a press release dated April 26, the actual date he resigned! http://www.fightingsioux.com/sports/mbball...RELEASE_ID=4856
  18. Just wanted that out there on the record.
  19. Suck-up. Mine went to a worthy cause, but you knew that.
  20. http://www.grandforks.com/mld/grandforks/s...ta/14429094.htm
  21. There's no release on Fighting Sioux.com either. Why? Glas doesn't official resign from UND until later today (Wednesday). That's what the guys on KVLY said.
  22. Thinking way big-picture and long term, there really isn't great space for new academic buildings on campus. With parking ramps going in soon, returning the Hyslop space for new academic buildings would be something to think about too. That would probably mean: - competition pool on Wellness - bubble over Memorial - another building somewhere down the road to replace the lost space in Hyslop. All that is probably at least a 10-15 year plan.
  23. Late 1970s/early 1980s (give or take).
  24. Time to bump this back to the top of the stack considering UND is now officially looking for one. http://www.grandforks.com/mld/grandforks/14426181.htm
