UNDLeafsGuy Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 That looks the same as ice level at BC earlier in the year Quote
Sioux-cia Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Are you suppose to use water on a fuel (gasoline/propane) fire?? Quote
PCM Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Are you suppose to use water on a fuel (gasoline/propane) fire?? I use vodka, but that's just me. Quote
Sioux-cia Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 I use vodka, but that's just me. As long as you're using the cheap stuff and NOT wine, that's ok with me too! Quote
redwing77 Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 As long as you're using the cheap stuff and NOT wine, that's ok with me too! Franzia White wine or white zinfindel works pretty good. Quote
Sioux-cia Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Franzia White wine or white zinfindel works pretty good. Ok to put the fire out with but the Shiraz is MINE!!! Quote
Dave Berger Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 LOL I thought this was another nickname idea. Of course, it would only work for hockey, but that's how my brain works: The University of North Dakota Fire On Ice! Quote
Bob in Wisconsin Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Now this is a call I would LOVE to go on! We would more than likely use foam on this fire, as we do most car fires. It's a 1-6% foam mix with water, mixed on the rig from the tank water. I like what the chief says..."the ice usually takes care of it"...yeah right. It looks like they were a bit conservative on their attack, but it's hard to say when your not there, not sure if they even knew about the LP tanks. Quote

FIRE HELMET GUY #26 Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Are you suppose to use water on a fuel (gasoline/propane) fire?? Typically you would want to use a Class "B" foam, but some departments are not equipped with foam on their rigs. Quote
mikeypat15 Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 They are putting way to much water down on the ice, could be a sloppy 1st half of the next period Quote
The Whistler Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 We have other sports besides hockey? I thought it was going to refer to Oshie, Duncan and Vandervelde in the collective. Quote
The Whistler Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Not that there's anything wrong with that. Quote
