PCM
It's all going to come down to goaltending. With Woog being built lower to the ground he should have a better view and prevail. And he doesn't have to worry about his hair getting in his eye. That could be a key factor.
Siouxdonyms
Is there any way to pull the goalie in bubble hockey? If one of Blais' freshmen defensemen takes a penalty, can he just skate right out of the bubble? On the old table hockey game, you could pull your goalie...just don't know where you'd put the extra forward! Also, the metal piece that held the goalie could still make saves too!! PCM
When the Sioux-Bison football rivalry gets going again, will there be an electric football game between Roger Thomas and Rocky Hager?
UNDLeafsGuy
Here's everything you'd ever want to know about Chexx hockey. http://www.marvin3m.com/arcade/chexx.htm There is one of these games in the game room pool side at the GF Holiday Inn, rumor has it Blais and Woog will be practicing drills @ the Holiday Inn Friday at noon
rochsioux
Betting lines are established (By me) Blair -200 Woog +310 Coaching records Blais: 262-115-33 (.679) Woog: 390-188-40 (.663) I guessing you don't set the lines for Vegas. Bet both sides and you will at worst break even (Blais wins) or make money if Woog wins.
HaksHomey
“I'm sure I'm still good enough to give him a challenge,” Blais said. “It's always fun to do something to promote an event. I'll probably come up there on Friday, have dinner with the team and then get ready to stomp Woog.” LINK
dagies
Not only is this a great idea, they have two great personalities involved. I have $5 on Blais here in my office!

HaksHomey
Is it just me or will there be a tremendous amount of bragging rights after this? (and by "this" I mean Dean's victory)

The Whistler
I remember when table hockey was played with no bubble and a puck that featured a heavy ball bearing. That baby could knock out a tooth when it left the rink! And the skate blades were all metal.
RexBanner
Even if Blais loses, Woog will still be bald. I can't imagine Woog ever having hair. I think he's been bald since 16. We can compare their stats with the Pride on Ice though: Woog, Douglas W. St. Paul, MN GP G A TP P PIM 80 48 53 101 35 89 Blais, Dean C. International Falls, MN GP G A TP P PIM 124 56 83 139 46 95 stats stolen from www.gopherhockeyhistory.com
sagard
If Blais wins, the Gopher fans will claim it was a "meanignless game." Yeah, yeah. And when Wooger takes him down, you guys will be crying about the refs. Of course you all might do that even if Blais wins.
RexBanner
Yeah, yeah. And when Wooger takes him down, you guys will be crying about the refs. Of course you all might do that even if Blais wins. Even if Wooger was playing Eaves, there would be complaints about the officiating.

Of course you all might do that even if Blais wins. No need for any officials to decide the outcome of this one. In keeping with past history Wooger's goaltender will have a five hole big enough for Dean to shoot a beachball through
