Siouxdonyms
Good to hear Forney's going to get another shot on Friday night. Also good to hear that the team feels there's good cohesiveness this early in the year. Hopefully, that only gets stronger as the year progresses! Thanks PCM. farce poobah
Hockey teams take on the character of their best players. That's a great leading indicator for the Sioux this year...

Diggler
With Forney in the lineup on Friday, does Radke sit again? If so, Colorado College fans better mind their P's and Q's!

PCM
Especially when it didn't sound like that was the case last year. I wouldn't say that. The impression I got from listening to the show, as well as from talking to players last season, is that they feel even more cohesive as a team now than they did last season. Sioux_Yeah_Yeah
From the Green Mill Wait, why did I see Hakstol at the Tavern around noon today doing some radio show?? Am I missing something? westsidesioux
Wait, why did I see Hakstol at the Tavern around noon today doing some radio show?? Am I missing something? Cuz that really wouldn't surprise me Dan Hammer does a daily sports show on 740 AM out of Fargo. He comes to GF and spends one hour doing the Dave Hakstol Show from the Tavern. Then that night Tim and Swyg do the Sioux Sports Show on 1440 AM with all of the UND coaches. Hope that helps you out a touch!

Before long we might start seeing girls with "Me so Forney" T-shirts to go along with the "Me so Chorney" ones....
PCM
I'm going by what I heard from last year. I didn't want anyone to get the idea that you were repeating something said on the coaches' show because nobody said anything like that. Also good to hear that the team feels there's good cohesiveness this early in the year. Hopefully, that only gets stronger as the year progresses! Thanks PCM. Completely agree about Forney!! I don't what it is about this kid, but I can't help pulling for him and really want to see him make a huge contribution this year. Maybe it's all the injuries and him never really getting a chance to show Sioux fans how good he could play. But I really think this is going to be his breakout year and he's going to drop in 10 - 15 pucks. I had the same feeling last year about Vandevelde (along with many posters here) and although he didn't net as many pucks, I would say he was a major force going into and during the post season. I WILL buy a "Me SOOO Forney!" t-shirt when he hits 5 goals. As for who sits, I'm off the Radke hatin'. Hak won't play him is he's making poor decisions and not scoring, Forney plays like he did last week and it won't even be a contest. As always, THANK YOU PCM! For those of us living "behind the goofer nation" lines it's great to feel like we're back in good old GF and NoDak listening in.
