PCM
It might require more Grain Belt for him to get the job done in all of that heat. I was thinking the same thing.
THETRIOUXPER
I was thinking the same thing. But hey, it's not like that's a bad thing (Grain Belt I mean, not scrubbing jocks.)
HockeyMom
What's wrong with Taco Bell? No, I don't work there, but that's kind of a condescending attitude. We can't all be movers and shakers on Wall Street. *finds a really long hair in my Nachos Bell Grande* *stares down DaveK*
PCM
But hey, it's not like that's a bad thing (Grain Belt I mean, not scrubbing jocks.) Yeah, but I'm more of a cold-weather jock scrubber. Now I've got to rethink this whole opportunity, as generous as it is.

THETRIOUXPER
Yeah, but I'm more of a cold-weather jock scrubber. Now I've got to rethink this whole opportunity, as generous as it is. Yeah, but think about this. In a warmer climate you could wear a jock, and nothing else, while you were scrubbing jocks. You can't get away with wearing nothing but a jock in sub-zero temps, I don't care how much Grain Belt you've had.
HockeyMom
Can I vote twice? Depends on what you're voting for and where you're voting at- if it's in Florida, vote as often as you wish.

Slap Shot
Slap Shot, I'm just curious where Jason Blake fits in here. lol I've heard stories, but Blake played mostly at a time when I worked overseas for a long stretch and couldn't follow the Gophers in great detail. Therefore, outside of second-hand references I only really know about him from the NHL and aside from the perception he seems to always do well against the Wild I've admired his NHL carreer. I'm sure I've been annoyed by a Sioux or Badger here and there but time seems to have gotten the best of any bad or menacing thoughts I had in years past. Vegas
Interesting statements. Let me know when the Red Wings offer you $150K a year to be their primary scout. As far as being knowledgeable, well, you lose a little credibility when you can't spell the word properly. That would result in a minor pay increase with a whole lot of headaches and bad food. Why would I even go there?
sagard
That would result in a minor pay increase with a whole lot of headaches and bad food. Why would I even go there? Duh. Because then your silly poking of the US players would have credibility.

Sex sells, but I think they'd want it to sell the product, not your loyalty Anyways, I'm impressed with Team USA, or what I've read about it. Unfortunately I had to work while the game was on. I heard about Toews' three shootout goals. Were they anything special or were they just quality scores? Would someone be willing to describe his goals either on this thread or via PM to me? I'd REALLY appreciate it.

Frazee didn't cut down angles like the NHL goalies due in shootouts and the Canadians continually exploited it. The Canadian goalie had the same problem, but Kane shot it into his skate while attempting five hole on the only US chance to win the game. This one hurt worse than Holy Cross. Yeah I am sure the squad is quite disappointed. Sounds like they outplayed Canada for much of the game. At least they didn't fold the tent and came back for a chance at a medal. Hopefully they can regroup and win the bronze.

YES, you'll be offered the same benefit package that the Vikings football team received in their 2005-2006 season. Also, you'll get a free company car to take in all your post game festivities. 1976 Pinto, light blue with custom tuck and roll bucket seats, chain steering wheel and an 8 Track player with the complete Iron Butterfly album collection. To go from as bad as they were in the Germany and first Canada game to winning a medal is a truly amazing feat, in my opinion. Thanks sagard.
