UNDintheNHL Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 CC only barely wins agains AIR FORCE, Denver loses by 3 goals to OSU, and the Goofs lose by 2 to Maine....lets go BEARS!! haha Quote
redwing77 Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 But the big DUH moment comes out east as Vermont smokes Colgate showing whomever it was that ranked Colgate to be really smoking some bad stuff. Quote

C.C. barely beats the air force, I wonder if that is a preview for things to come in Colorado Springs this season. Quote
Sioux_Hab-it Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 DU managed to squeak by Colgate 3-2 in their afternoon consolation game. Quote

Goon Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Vermont 4 Miami Oh 1 What are we to make of this score, Miami beats DU then loses to Vermont? Yikes DU can't be very good this year. Quote

Part of the equation is that Vermont, being the new kids, on the block, get no respect in the East. They are going to be a real threat to both BC and Maine this season. Likewise DU got all of their preseason hype based on reputation alone and have no proven scorers beyond Dingle. The other surprises of the night were that MSU, AA and NH all lost their exhibition games against Canadian Varsity teams. Quote
redwing77 Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Well, soon to be unranked Colgate didn't fare too well either. Quote
