As long as the NCAA policy against American Indian nicknames and imagery is in effect, there will be no more regionals at REA. The Ralph doesn't meet the NCAA seating requirement to host the Frozen Four. Quote

Either way, looks like they've already booked the next 40 Frozen Fours at great locales such as Detroit.......hey maybe in 2020 I'll see ya'll at the tourney in Lubbock, Texas or Knoxville, TN.....way to go NCAA. The Providence Civic Center was the last of the 'small' venues that will ever host the NCAA Frozen Four. They hosted the 2000 Frozen Four which was won by North Dakota. Seating capacity for hockey is 11,484. . Quote
