Herf
I disagree with the comments on Schneider. I thought he was outstanding when he needed to be - in the 1st period when the Sioux had some great chances and couldn't get one by (similar to PCM's analysis on Parise re: Hakstol's comments). I don't disagree that he was less than stellar the rest of the game. It should also be noted that his save on Kozek's (I think) diving re-direction of Oshie's centering pass was crucial and could have also been a big turning point (I think Gerbe undressed Smaby shortly thereafter). Parise let in a couple of softies and wasn't helped much on others. It's a team game and they, as a team, lost the game. I'm extremely pleased that this team made it as far as they did; they surpassed my expectations given the youth on D.
Southernmn
uhhhh, duhhhhhhhh, uhhhhhh, duhhhhhhhhhhh, im a gopher fan and we rule the world...... gopher fans are friken halarious. hey dumb azz, hes not eligable for the draft, hes called a FREE AGENT...........and yes he will be signed this year or more likely next year.... Sioux_Hab-it
I assume from your response, that there will be no "adult" conversation on the topic ?? If there was a knowledgable adult hockey fan on your end maybe there would have been a meaningful conversation. AZSioux merely gave you the response an arrogant and ignorant troll deserves. Siouxman
Not to get repetitive, but I will. There is no I, he, him, or any other singular person attribute in "team." As a team, the Sioux did not function as we have become accustomed to since late in the season. The team lost this game, not Parise, not Smaby, not Hakstol, etc. The team did not live up to our expectations and they most certainly did not live up to their own expectations. The team lost the game. Move on. It is now time to agonize over what we are all going to do over the next 5 1/2 months without Sioux hockey. DMT
Someone needs to mention this to the resident ss.com draft expert.
siouxnami
I have alot of faith in Phil and Jordan, so whatever happens, we should be OK in net. Jordan didn't have a good frozen four game, so what, the Sioux wouldn't even have gotten a sniff of the Frozen Four the last 2 season with out him. I am happy about his statement that he will be back next season (posturing or not)...
