siouxguyinstpaul Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 I trust that this is appropiate here - our Fighting Sioux are a -130 favorite over BC with Sconny being a heavy favorite at -180 over the Blackbears. GO SIOUX and go Blackbears Quote

GO SIOUX and go Blackbears exactly what does that mean? Would we have to bet $1.30 to win $1.00 if UND won? Quote

siouxguyinstpaul Posted April 3, 2006 Author Posted April 3, 2006 FYI - the over and under is set at 5 1/2 in Sioux/BC game and 5 for Maine/Sconny Quote
Goon Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 FYI - the over and under is set at 5 1/2 in Sioux/BC game and 5 for Maine/Sconny Isn't that a little high for Maine and Sconny, I would bet the under after watching the BADgers last game. Quote
ScottM Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Which book(s) is setting the odds this year? Harrahs? Quote
Goon Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Which book(s) is setting the odds this year? Harrahs? Imperial Palace is probably going to have a betting line in their sports book, when I stayed there they have college hockey odds. Quote

ScottM Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Which book(s) is setting the odds this year? Harrahs? I could probably find out myself, but the job has a myriad of filters, walls, etc. that keep me from really enjoying the internet when I'm goofing off. Quote
mikeypat15 Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Not anymore at the imperial palace. I was there in late February, and out of all the casinos the MGM Grand was the only one casino that had college hockey scores, but no casinos carried bets. According the Sportsbook Manager at the Imperial Palace, the casinos take Frozen Four bets and never any other time of the year. Quote
NorthDakotaHockey Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 This is just one of the many many reasons that makes college hockey the greatest game on earth. Tough, if not impossible, to find some scumbags in Nevada, or most anywhere else, who are willing to take book on a game. Probably mainly because they do not understand it. Pure sport. No bull. No lost wages. No Las Vegas. Nothing but skill, commitment, and integrity. D-I college hockey. Be there. Be square. Quote
Rick Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 I trust that this is appropiate here - our Fighting Sioux are a -130 favorite over BC with Sconny being a heavy favorite at -180 over the Blackbears. GO SIOUX and go Blackbears After we lost twice at The Ralph to St. Cloud the end of January, the Sioux were 15-1 odds at the Flamingo Hilton. St. Cloud was something like 60-1, and Wisconsin was 2-1. We placed bets on all three. With the way Goepfert was playing I figured it was worth a $10 bet. Quote
AZSIOUX Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 ballys has college hockey lines..i bet on BC on the beanpot when iwas there and those no good bastards played like crap....i was just happy to see college hockey on the board so i lost a good chunk Quote
Chuck Schwartz Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Odds from Sportsbook.com on winning it all... Wisconsin 8-5 (Bet $10 to win $16) North Dakota 2-1 (Bet $10 to win $20) Boston College 12-5 (Bet $10 to win $24) Maine 11-2 (Bet $10 to win $55) I think I got those payouts correct.... Quote

One of the other two should come through for you though - I'm betting it will be the 15-1 team. Quote
