I was always a big Canady fan (liked his style of play). My brothers hated him, which made it that much better to like him. ;)

He's a great kid. His folks are really nice, too.

nice, he was beeming with sioux pride and probably had a few beers in him as TH said he had a beer with him during the interview...nice!! he earned it with the 4 years at UND..

Trivia question:

If two players drop the gloves and punch each other, is it:

A. 5 min major for fighting for each of them.

B. Nothing

C. Double minor for roughing for one player, minor for one player for roughing, PP.

It depends on whether the ref signs the score sheet after the game. ;)

a, dropping the gloves is a no-no, even if you don't throw a punch.

At the DECC, the answer was C. With the commissioner in the building, I might add.

I used to not hate Zelkin.

Final, 7-2. We played better against Wisconsin than Mankato!

Zelkin. That explains it. ;)

Guess that was the result of his screwing up the calls in the Mankato/Sioux scrum. Allowing a real fight without DQs.
