Siouxdonyms Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Geez... I feel like someone is always on a power play. Maybe we should just let these boys play... International rules a lot tighter than what we're used too. Of course, that's changing in the NCAA and the NHL too. Quote

Siouxdonyms Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Another penalty on Finland. Oshie's line out again to draw another penalty. Quote
USA Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Another penalty on Finland. Oshie's line out again to draw another penalty. I think that is becoming part of their job description. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 I think that is becoming part of their job description. Amazing what moving your feet on a shift can do. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Bourque gets an interference call. 4-4 hockey. Quote
WiSioux Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 These annoucers really like Oshie's line. Said they are the "energy line" and that Oshie has really brought a lot of energy tonight. One of them said something about he'd really like to play with Oshie... or at least that is what I heard. Quote
Sioux_Hab-it Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 (edited) How can anyone tell the Finns apart? It sounds like they all have the same names Lepannin, Leinonin, Lehtonin, Lindgrin etc. I guess their goaltender must be Letthemin. Sorry its getting late. WiSioux Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 High stick on Finland. Oshie draws another penalty. Oshie is like a gold mine for the USA power play. Not only is he doing great on killing penalties, but he's drawing them left and right... (well, his line at least) Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Another high sticking on Finland. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Penalty on Finland is a double minor. Quote
WiSioux Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Without seeing any of this game on tv, it sounds like the Finland goalie is playing really solid. It also seems like our goalie is play very spasticly (is that a word). It seems like every time I hear about our goalie, he's sprawled on the ice. But as long as he makes the saves, it's all good. geez... another penalty Quote
USA Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Once again against the Oshie line.....4 minute minor Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Sounds almost like Kessel is trying too hard to score. Quote

USA Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Canadians response to Phil Kessel being compared to Sidney Crosby, "Kessel doesn't pass the puck." I wonder if their still saying that after his five assists on Monday plus one more tonight. Quote

Siouxdonyms Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Gerbe had some good opportunities, but didn't get anything. Quote
WiSioux Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 What a great shift by Oshie! USA! USA! USA! USA! I wish Oshie shot this much for us... maybe he does, but it seems like I'm hearing his name an awful lot... or maybe it's just the enthusium that it is being said with Quote
