keikla Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Can't imagine how Cornell will ever score in this game. Eventually something will go in for the Gophers. No Cornell offense whatsover. At least yesterday it looked like Maine might get a lucky bounce and a 1-0 win. Cornell had no chance unless Briggs lets in a 100 foot softie. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Given his past performances, I wouldn't put that 100 ft. shot out of the realm of possibilities. However, I do think that the gophers will score fairly soon. This game is just too onesided Quote
SiouxTupa Posted March 27, 2005 Author Posted March 27, 2005 I'm betting on a goal within the first 3 mins of the 2nd. One of the coaches has to have gotten to his team. Never know when there'll be a Cornell breakaway, Briggs is a softie and predictable to boot. Quote
SiouxTupa Posted March 27, 2005 Author Posted March 27, 2005 Underway again. UM about a min of PP time left. Quote
keikla Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 another gopher pp...it's only a matter of time Quote
SiouxTupa Posted March 27, 2005 Author Posted March 27, 2005 Refs must be gopher fans. CU back in the box. Quote
keikla Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Forget the all WCHA ff, I'm rooting for Cornell. Take away Cornell's D, especially the goalie, and this gopher team makes me nervous. Quote

Take away Cornell's D, especially the goalie, and this gopher team makes me nervous. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i don't care who we play, i think our defense is better than cornell, our parise is playing as well or better than cornells goalie, add to that our offense playing like studs and knowing the gophers and their systems and tendencies, i like our chances against minnesota. i'll give them their due respect, but they are definatel beatable. SiouxTupa Posted March 27, 2005 Author Posted March 27, 2005 That's true. We're actually scoring at will right now. As Bill Clement said last night, it's UND's ASSAULT TEAM. We know the gophers, and they aren't looking great right now. Put in a few goals and then I'll take notice. Otherwise it's just like UND earlier this year. Quote
SiouxTupa Posted March 27, 2005 Author Posted March 27, 2005 Here comes a goal on this PP. Vanilla in box. Quote
keikla Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 holy crap, Cornell hasn't lost in last 18 games....what a great streak to be riding at a time like this. Quote
keikla Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 LOL....Cornell scores on a shorty! unbelievable Quote
Smoggy Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Goal by Cornell. Shorthanded. I think it was only on like their fifth shot. Geez, their band is there. Quote
SiouxTupa Posted March 27, 2005 Author Posted March 27, 2005 HAHAHAHAHAHAhAhaHAHA Cornell 1 Gophers 0 3 on 1 breakaway Quote
Smoggy Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Shots 18-5 for Gophers. Nice cheap shot by Briggs' after the whistle. Quote
keikla Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 another gopher pp either cornell is cheap or the refs are doing everything they can to let the gophers win Quote
Sioux-cia Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Uhm, these announcers sound like they may be homies Quote
siouxtatoo42 Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 another gopher pp either cornell is cheap or the refs are doing everything they can to let the gophers win <{POST_SNAPBACK}> refs want an all wcha final so they can have a chance at working it Quote
keikla Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Uhm, these announcers sound like they may be homies <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not at all. Minnesota is just obviously the best team in the universe, and no one ever has or ever could compare Quote
