jloos
Sculpture garden and art museum (with a trip across the bridge to freak watch) is always fun. Tour the capital in St. Paul - more interesting than it sounds. Hit up the casino - one in Prior Lake and one South of Hastings A little spendy but interesting (depending on the theme) is the science museum next to the Excel. UMDDogz
Nope. There is absolutely nothing fun to do here. However we border on Minneapolis, which has several theaters, museums, and attractions. Those of you who said "Go to prior lake", or Hastings...that's a 40 minute drive. Even St. Paul can take that long in rush hour. Oh wait... If you like bowling there is a place at Texas and Minnetonka Blvd and one at Louisiana and Hwy 7.

Fedorov
Or if you're like DMT you can get drunk and drive the NASCAR simulator at the Mall of America - I'm sure there's all kinds of other white-trash things to do <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Now that sounds fun. BigChief
Gameworks (super arcade) downtown in Block E is pretty fun. More expensive than the old quarter arcade games, but fun to do once in a while. They had cool metal tipped darts, that would keep score electronically. Air and Bubble hockey. Good happy hour at McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurant, 800 Nicollet Mall, (612) 338-3300, call for hours. My wife works for the new Mill City Museum, which tells the story of the history of Minneapolis. Starting from the water power to drive the flour mills, which generated some of the worlds largest brands (Pillsbury, General Mills), to all the medical device companies starting around here because of all the farmers who got there arms tore off in farming accidents. Interesting connections.
