That may change in New York next time. Rory thinks it’s o.k. to do the hand to the ear at Hazeltine, but can’t handle a hat waving. He shut up real quick after Patrick Reed sunk that putt. That matchup between those two in 2016 was the greatest mano a mano matchup in the Ryder Cup in terms of sheer bravado. I'd rewatch that any day.
Wilbur
Gotta win 8 and a half ya say. Possible Winners: Cantlay, Homa, Clark, Harman, Morikawa, Rickie, Schauffele. Losers: Speith, Thomas, Brooks, Scheffler Burns. The streak continues of not winning on European soil.

I agree with Paul McGinley, that if the Americans had shown the passion they showed today from the first session, they wouldn’t need a big comeback. Just too much to ask, as 1/2 points are bound to happen, and then having to win all the big matchups against Rahm, Rory, and Hovland is asking a lot. If Spieth, Brooks and Scheffler would have won only 1 more point, it wouldn’t be as big of a task.
Wilbur
Morikawa goes down. Scheffler halves with Rahm. Looking like a 17-11 kinda day.
