DamStrait
Finally, a PP for the Sioux after Maine has beeen hanging all over them all period.
SFSIOUX#1
Do the Sioux have a pp goal yet?
sprig
Maine broadcaster said Ronan held Stafford "just a second" too long and got that penalty. If that's the case the extra second was the "11th" second, as he had him for a long time (behind the net) while the Sioux buzzed in front of the net with the puck. sprig
How is Massen playing? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> HE has not stood out, while several other Sioux have.
OETKB
Kaip penalty for charging. Not a good hit.
SFSIOUX#1
Sounds to me that they are taking things a bit far on the calling of penalties... this is hockey not ballet....
AZSIOUX
greene, holy sh%$ what a hit..........another to his list...
OETKB
Damon flattened by Greene! He looks hurt. Greene could have been called to give Maine a 5X3. Sioux dodge a bullet.
SFSIOUX#1
HE has not stood out, while several other Sioux have. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was late to the game, other than the obvious (Spirko), who else has stood out?
tp033
Greene gets a little lucky but with all the other weak penalties called they can let one slide.
sprig
greene, holy sh%$ what a hit..........another to his list... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not sure that hit was an elbow to the face as the broadcasters are claiming. Looked like the puck hit him in the face before the big hit. Second replay looks like Greene may have given the forearm to the chin.
Goon
greene, holy sh%$ what a hit..........another to his list... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Maine fans are calling for a 5 minute major. I guess I thought it was a good hit. I bet it will get a little chippy now.
DamStrait
Greene got away with one, but in his defense, I think this was another incident where Greene was so much taller that when he puts his arms up to protect himself, his elbows are at head level. OETKB
What's funny to me is how worked up the Maine fans get when any little thing happens. Is HE really that wimpy?
sprig
I was late to the game, other than the obvious (Spirko), who else has stood out? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Spirko, Murray, Stafford, Genoway, Jones, Greene, Schneider, Fuher, Prpich, McMahon, Zajac, I could go on. Very good cycling in the second and third periods. Spirko is really quick and elusive. Can see a lot of Sejna in him; Sioux could be so lucky. SFSIOUX#1
prpich got worked as he was lifted into maine's bench <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And he didn't get a penalty?
DamStrait
Maine holds the zone by hanging all over the boys so they have to ice it to clear the zone. No whistles. More BS
SFSIOUX#1
We may not all agree, all of the time. but it's is great to be back and see that we are going to have a team that can compete night in and night out. GO SIOUX!!!!
