I don't disagree, it's just that everytime someone says students should be able to swear, etc. PCM responds with what could be seen as a grumpy old fart post. I think it's funny.

Believe it or not, I've held my tongue/keyboard once or twice. :0

Plus, I was a grumpy young fart in college, so it's not like I've changed or anything. :0

 Yawn. Yet another person thinking "freedom of speech" gives you the license to do anything and say anything you want.

I'd sit next to PCM at a hockey game anytime, Diggler.

The Founding Fathers meant for freedom of speech to apply towards the right to express one's political beliefs. As much as I don't like to admit it (because I'm pro-cuss), the students are proposing a fallacious argument here.

I think your right Phoneix, I am not so sure that F-Bombs are protected under the 1st amendment.

I would venture to guess no. I think that REA needs to be a little lenient on some things, but we students could also make an effort (a large effort) to cut down on some of the obscentities used (for example, I think "Kick 'em in the junk" could be overlooked)

[sarcasm]I don't know how the F-bomb can be construed as noncreative...it is the most versatile word in the English language[/sarcasm]

That is so true. Is there a sentence you couldn't insert the word into?

Go back to the woods is a good cheer too, the swear could be replaced rather easily. As is if you can't get into college, go to Tech.
