4-H 97-98 Posted February 3, 2004 Author Posted February 3, 2004 If you don't know who Lonnie is from the football program then you just don't know! Lonnie was the back bone of that squad when he handled the jocks!!!! You clue sniffing here today but maybe some yesterday. Good Day "Dog nutz" holla if you hear me. Quote
Hansel Posted February 3, 2004 Posted February 3, 2004 Did you flunk out at NDSU? I would assume he isn't an SU grad due to his handle 4-H 97-98 (which in general means nothing but I doubt many NDSU students know/knew about the 4H house)... if memory serves me correctly 4H was a house rented by UND football players with last name's starting with H... Howe, Hambricht, Hanson? and ?... Quote
tony Posted February 3, 2004 Posted February 3, 2004 Did you flunk out at NDSU? That would explain why he ended up at UND I'm guessing based on the reference to "handling jocks" that EQ has something to do with EQuipment? Quote
WYOBISONMAN Posted February 3, 2004 Posted February 3, 2004 ....And suddenly a hush falls over the Sioux Fans..... Quote
BigGame Posted February 3, 2004 Posted February 3, 2004 Lonnie was a pretty good equipment guy, I didn't care for Vets much though. Quote
UNDvince97-01 Posted February 3, 2004 Posted February 3, 2004 my vote goes for Vets.....Lon couldnt carry his jockstrap in the equipment room. by the way, since when is "EQ" the abbreviation for equipment? 4-H, u should probably explain yourself a little better in your posts so everyone knows what you are talking about. Rookie. Quote
4-H 97-98 Posted February 3, 2004 Author Posted February 3, 2004 Yes.... EQ = equipment. Yes a Rookie mistake!!!! The short and long of it was that I was just having some fun with Lonnie! He needs that once and awhile. Good ol' VETS did run a close second! Dog nutz.....Holman is engaged if you didn't know. Fat Black is on lock down now! Quote

Hansel Posted February 4, 2004 Posted February 4, 2004 Someone has to stir the pot! Lonnie I need my sweats!!!!!!!! and gloves!!!!!!!!!shoes!!!!!!! MUFF!!!!!!! To the "somebison" Who is Hambricht?!?!  The other "H" was Holman! hey.. it's a tough name to spell ... and have you been back to the place lately.. there are probably still some people stuck trying to get out of the basement after one of those post- Bison-Sioux parties Quote
4-H 97-98 Posted February 4, 2004 Author Posted February 4, 2004 Somebison, For going to NDSU you sure know a lot about the old 4-H house. I have not been to the house in a long long time. It is a death trap!!! But there were some good times there though!!!! Lonnie was there a few times!!!! Quote
legion of doom Posted February 10, 2004 Posted February 10, 2004 Tracy Solem? Where would the program have been in the mid 90's without all the Orlando Thunder Gear??? Those pants were despised then, but would be cult classics now...who can forget traveling to IUP with the Thunder equipment carts? Quote
Nucleus Posted March 5, 2004 Posted March 5, 2004 Everyone knows that a team can only be as good as it's equipment manager. Who else would the team look to when it is in dire need of the essentials? The team certainly would not function without a capable Equipment guy. That being said it is obvious that Lon A. Carlson is the number one EQ guy in UND, especially recent UND, history. HE molded, litterally, the 2001 NCAA Champion Fighting Sioux Football team. Quote
