siouxguyinstpaul
Is there anywhere in the Twin Cities that carries Sioux home games on TV?

siouxguyinstpaul
Thanks - any particular Joe Sensors or do both (I only know of two anyway) carry the games?
Greyeagle
Bad news for hockey fans who get FSN. Regionals are now on Victory.

sammysioux
Pohlad owns victory....that's how they can afford it.
Fedorov
Pohlad owns victory....that's how they can afford it. That is what I thought. He doesn't spend money on something people watch (Twins), but he spends it on what people don't watch (Victory)?
terbele
Jeez, go figure. The NCAA is up to their usual. "Let's highlight the student athlete and ethics, but then turn around and get in bed with a partner involved in a commercial powerplay venture". Maybe Bobby Knight should have kicked the S**T out of Myles Brand at Indiana.

ScottM
Gotta hand it to the morons at the NC$$ selling TV rights to a cable channel that has virtually no distribution in the biggest markets in Minnesota, e.g., MSP, St. Cloud, etc. Brilliant move guys, you worthless f**ks. DAR
I don't think there will be any progress in the Victory negotiations until the Twins season approaches. Hopefully there can be a deal in place by regional time. It seems pretty stupid to have a channel that hardly anyone can view. Another case of Polahd's greed and that of his sons as well as they are now calling most of the shots since Carl can barely walk.
UMDDogz
I guess that will mean long days spent at a sports bar, trying to convince the TV controller guy to show the UMD games.
CoteauRinkRat
I agree with DAR There will be nothing done with Victory sports and other cable companies until the Twins season approaches. There will be no way the Twins cannot be on in the same amount of households that they were on FSN.

Millionaire
It's a bold move by Victory. They have landed yet another telecast that people in Minnesota want to watch. It raises the pressure on the cable companies to pick up the channel. Yeah, Victory is losing big money right now, but the Regionals is another investment toward getting their foothold. The whole thing is a make-or-break venture. Maybe this will teach FSN to stop dragging their feet on Regionals until they see who is playing.
