WPoS Posted January 26, 2004 Posted January 26, 2004 ME, currently design structural modular components for trade show exhibits, used to do water filtration type stuff and worked on rocket extracted parachutes for airplanes, so yes, I can say it is as simple as rocket science! WPoS Quote
cfm567b27 Posted January 26, 2004 Posted January 26, 2004 ME WPoS Got ya...If you were an AE you might recognize my handle....CFM56-7B27...... 27,300lbs of thrust at sea level under standard conditions. Quote
WPoS Posted January 26, 2004 Posted January 26, 2004 was wondering where that all come from...so you may know the Cirrus aircraft a bit then, I designed the rocket extraction hardware for that. WPoS Quote
CoteauRinkRat Posted January 26, 2004 Posted January 26, 2004 you guys can exchange emails and take your engineering discussions elsewhere. Quote

WPoS Sure do...that would be for the BRS system..... Saved that guys tail down in Texas a few years back if I recall correctly right after taking off from Love Field. Have a few colleagues that work for them up in Duluth. Nice machines....little spendy but can't beat the performance and avionics package they come with. Who knows someday I might be able to swing a share in one. Quote

He had the privilege of landing one on a GF street when Cirrus opened its GF operation. Quote
