ringneck28
I have been doing some searching and have not been able to come up with this answer. How many Sioux players are on the Stanley Cup? This should be fun. I'll start out with the ones I know of. Toews, Commedore, Green, Belfour.
SiouxTupa
Add Hrkac, who won it in 99 with Dallas.

watchmaker49
Here is a link to all the names on the cup. You have to look at them alphabetically. http://www.nhl.com/ice/page.htm?id=31125

I looked it up and he started the '96-'97 year in Detroit and was traded to Pittsburgh that year. Of course, the Red Wings won the Cup that Spring. Too bad he never won a Cup. ringneck28
No, there are more that played earlier. Dave Christian was on the 1980 jets team. Just trying to see how many are on it.

Not who won a cup though. I know Gord Sherven got a ring in Edmonton. But his name is not on the cup.

Not really. There are hardly any college players prior to 1986 on the cup. Look at how many great NHL players have never made it on the cup. I must be bored today, I just cross referenced the complete lists of players. Very impressive NHL history for UND. A non UND name that I was suprised was not on the cup, Ron Hextall.
