NorthDakotaHockey Posted January 9, 2004 Posted January 9, 2004 [url=http://www.nhl.com/intheslot/read/impact/2003_04/january/minnesota2.html] Here is a somewhat interesting article on the state, and history, of hockey in Minnesota. Too bad they don't mention that, these days at least, most of the good young talent leaves the state to play at schools with a stronger hockey tradition than is found at the U of M. Quote
NorthDakotaHockey Posted January 9, 2004 Author Posted January 9, 2004 State of Hockey I'll try the link again. I am not very adept at these things. Quote
tnt Posted January 9, 2004 Posted January 9, 2004 What do you consider "most"? I think it has been rehashed on every message board that you can't get all the good players in your state. See Potulny's and Irmen for examples of that. They seem to have done quite well with the their new formula. Quote
farce poobah Posted January 10, 2004 Posted January 10, 2004 I love the ending quote, noting unenthusiastically that St Cloud State also plays hockey. The JBSU legend grows.... Quote
ScottM Posted January 10, 2004 Posted January 10, 2004 SCCC plays hockey? WTF? Did somebody call Dahl? Oh, yeah ... he's waiting for "The Call from Madison" ... Quote
