Have I ever let it be known here that I do not look favorably upon the gophers (political correctness being observed......as is now the custom)

Unfortunately the Gophers do not look favorably on UND much any more either. Leaving for the Big 10 is part of it, but notice, really take notice, that NDSU has developed a much stronger relationship with U of M in recent years, at least in athletics; WBB, MBB, FB, SB, Wrestling etc. The Bison have created a healthier rivalry in more sports for whatever reason, nickname or whatever. Their relationship has grown while UND's, at least on the surface has diminished. Good or bad? Remains to be seen.

Interesting note: Fox Sports North just flashed reasons to visit ND, they showed Newman Outdoor Field. Wow, what a downer.
