NCAA Signing Starts Wednesday

It starts on the 9th and ends the 16th. Are we going to sign anybody do you guys know? Or do we not have any scholarships available?

I heard there's only one scholarship available and they're looking for a JUCO to make immediate impact when they're playing a Big Sky schedule.

Dont know where there is one. We've been over this scholarship numbers before and the one they have for next year is going to Shane Benton.

We know from multiple sources that Matt Van Scyoc was offered a scholarship for next year (but chose the Citadel). It seems pretty clear that at least one, and maybe more scholarships will be made available for next year. I doubt very much that comes as a huge surprise to the current player or players who would be most impacted by this.

Any news? I thought I saw on the Wednesday chat that both the men's and women's teams would release something about the recruiting soon. I saw that the women's team did already but when are the men going to?

I am quite sure we won't be signing anyone during the early signing period. We will somehow have a scholarship or two available for next year. I understand we are looking for a JC power forward or center. Hopefully, we will get some good news in April. We definitely need help down low!
