WYOBISONMAN Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 An interesting thought was posted over on Bisonville......The deer opener is a killer for attendance at any home game for either school. The suggestion was to play a NDSU/UND game at 7pm the Saturday of the deer opener. Would this game sell out? Who knows, but it would probably put more asses in the seats than any other game. Hell, maybe students would even shuffle over to watch this game. Interesting concept, might work......probably will never happen. Here is the linky if you want to throw your opinion in...... Deer Hunting Classic Quote

Deer Hunting Classic You know what that is a very good question and I think there would be many that would just come in from the field wearing their blaze orange. I think the game should be played at Dakota field or Memorial stadium as well. Quote

Doubt that both conferences would make room for an OOC that late in the year. Quote
nodakvindy Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 If you can't draw on the deer opener, then you should request a road came or bye week. For a rekindle Sioux-Bison game, I much prefer Labor Day Weekend - as a season opener. Bill it as North Dakota's biggest end of summer party, with like a 4:00 start time on Monday. That gives plenty of time for tailgating and is also an attractive TV slot for FCS or another broadcaster. Quote
