tboneund
Fournier at #4?! The question wasn't "Who Are You Mostly Likely To See Eating a Big Mac?"...
PCM
Fournier at #4?! The question wasn't "Who Are You Mostly Likely To See Eating a Big Mac?"... Or "Which Alaskan owes you the most money?"
StarzUND
I think the reason Fournier is ranked so high, is they are basing it soley on what they accomplished in the USHL, if they based it on what they accomplished afterwards, there would be some names added and subtracted from the list. Marty
Speaking of what they accomplished afterwards. Whatever happened to David Hooooooogsteen. I remember he was my favorite player when he played with the sioux because he had the white skates, and because of how the announcer said his name. YaneA
Last I heard, David Hoogsteen was playing hockey in Europe.
CoteauRinkRat
He is still playing over there, he was interviewed during last year's game vs. Ferris state.
redwing77
Ok, I don't want to start a whole thread on this so maybe someone could email me or PM me the story, but I would love to know what is the deal specifically with Chris Fournier? I've gathered tidbits here and there but nothing specific. I wasn't around when he wore a Sioux jersey.
collegehockeyfan1
Fournier is now in Anchorage and is a valuable and greatly needed addition to UAA's team. Regardless of some off-ice problems that occurred during his time at UND, it cannot be disputed that he is a talented hockey player. Let's not continue to dwell on the past and let's concentrate on the current and future talent of the Sioux.
