  1. You are a gem redwing77 and a loyal and true fan. I, too, will continue to love the Sioux and support our teams through lean years and winning seasons. And, I will continue to demonstrate that loyality no matter what the outcome of each game is. A long-time season ticket holder, does not always a true fan make. I will also demonstrate some class on this board and not respond to posters who choose to call other fans crude names.
  2. Supertrex has got to be the most negative individual in GF. Maybe he'd look good in red and white and maybe, just maybe, a REAL Sioux fan would like to have his ticket next to "Lammy's dad". Do you enjoy sitting behind your computer and pointing the finger and placing blame on individual players game in and game out? Not one of these players is a bum. You've got some personal grief with certain players and their families - get over it and move on. The UAA announcers repeatedly said during the final few minutes of the game that the Seawolves opponents were completely outworked and outplayed. Give UAA some credit - they played hard and with heart and overcame adversity. Cut the negativity and naysaying - either cheer this team on to the end - either bitter or sweet - or put on that red and white and move on.
  3. Anyone attend the USHL prospects game tonight that will report the outcome? Nothing on Pointstreak at this time.
  4. Nice back-pedaling Supertrex! Hey, I know you didn't say anything directly to the guy - you saved your comments for this board! Perhaps a certain part of your anatomy isn't large enough to tell the guy next to you that he's bothering you and you'd appreciate him not doing whatever it is that bothers you so. I'm going to thank my lucky stars the rest of this season that my seat is sections away from yours. Everyone knows where yours is. Now go take that rest - enough said!
  5. A few comments on Supertrex's keen observations and comments. First of all, I believe the parents sit in the corners - section 114, not behind the Sioux bench. Perhaps the man you were sitting next to is just a fan and not Lammy's father. Who cares anyway? What inspires you to attack a man when you don't even know his identity? Further, it is bad enough that we post negative comments about players day after day after day on this site, but then to attack their parents.......come on. Will you be looking for Lammy's grandparents tonight? I'm sure you didn't say anything bad directly to the guy about Lammy - you showed us just what you're made of by saving your remarks for this board! I think you might be the one who needs to give things a rest!!
  6. We all know that college drinking is commonplace on campuses all throughout the country - athletes and non-athletes alike. And, we should be certain that the judge will impose a fair and impartial judgement should Matt Greene be found guilty. What will be most scrutinized in this case will be the action taken by the UND coaching staff/athletic dept. and the message that action sends.
  7. Has Sal ever noticed the Lincoln Stars logo on the back of Lammy's helmet? It seems curious that such a "hellhole" would be honored in that way if it were not near and dear to a player's heart and played a great role in his development. Many of those former Lincoln players listed in a previous post continually return to that "hellhole" down South every year just to visit because of fond memories, good friends and fans, and the enjoyable time they themselves had living and developing their skills there.
  8. Could someone post the photos from the Herald please?
  9. Not able to listen to the broadcast tonight - any update on Fuher?
  10. Has six career game-winning goals to tie Curtis Murphy
  11. My arm hurts from patting myself on the back - ha ha!!
  12. I don't normally say "I told you so", but in this case I will. Remember prior to the season's start when the topic of conversation was routinely asking who would start in net for the Sioux? I posted the following on September 1: "I am certain that once we all see him (Phil Lamoureux) play and experience what he can accomplish in net, all these posts on who will mind the net this season and in the future will cease - at least for 4 more years that is......." I intend to enjoy and celebrate the next 4 years of #34!!
  13. Yes - Phil Lamoureux! I am certain that once we all see him play and experience what he can accomplish in net, all these posts on who will mind the net this season and in the future will cease - at least for 4 more years that is.
  14. Fournier is now in Anchorage and is a valuable and greatly needed addition to UAA's team. Regardless of some off-ice problems that occurred during his time at UND, it cannot be disputed that he is a talented hockey player. Let's not continue to dwell on the past and let's concentrate on the current and future talent of the Sioux.
  15. Go to the ushl.com website and vote current and former Sioux on to the USHL 25th Anniversary Team.
  16. "New Guy" is going to tell us all to go down to the Grand Forks County District Court and check the records again!
  17. Sorry, Goon, all "New Guy" is doing in his/her unfunny way, is calling Jake a "THIEF". We all know that Jake is from Roseau.
  18. Hey "New Guy" - what's your real problem with Jake Brandt? - almost makes me think it's something personal the way you continue to relentlessly attack him on this site. Chill out and give us all a break!
  19. In reviewing this post, New Guy has eluded to Brandt having a previous THEFT charge against him and does not mention a domestic incidence. If this is factual, New Guy, additional details would be appreciated. Apparently you must be aware of something or else you wouldn't have brought it up in the elusive manner that you have. First you suggest that there might have been a second theft charge, then you suggest it a second time, then in your 3rd post you state that the charge was in '02. Speak up! For everyone's info, it is a common misconception that a woman who is a victim of domestic violence must show some signs of injury to substaniate her claim. Thousands of women are victims of domestic abuse each day in this country and it is hidden from and unknown to even their closest family members and friends. I am not taking any side on the Brandt domestic violence issue, just pointing out a very sad fact.
  20. I believe Aug. 6 was the date that Brandt was to appear in Roseau County District Court. Anyone have information on this?
