Risky Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 We out played them in 2nd half. We had a touchdown called back at the 1 inch line. I'm very proud of the team. I can't wait for the rest of the season. Way to go. Quote

While this team still has a lot of question marks, it is still a very young team that showed a lot of improvement and more importantly, character. We could/should have won this game. After getting housed by Idaho last week, then giving up an 80 yd td run on the first play today and starting out down 16-0 right away, this team could have folded like a cheap tent. Defense and QB need to still step it up going into the rest of the season. Offense took some baby steps today though. Hardin played great but dropped the big one at the end. Looking forward to watching this young team in person at the Alerus. See you all at the Potato Bowl. Quote

Good progress from week 1 to week 2; with 31 of 58 of our travelling team sophs, RFr or Fr, , I think this team will continue to get better throughtout the season. Quote

MoSiouxFan Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Updated your thought. Could have just added "and the coming years." (which I should have added myself). Thanks. Quote
Wilbur Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Moral victories suck, but at the same point in time, the Sioux represented their university a helluva lot better last night. Lets hope they can win the home opener next weekend. Quote
