Superman0099 Posted October 7, 2003 Posted October 7, 2003 Dear Fighting Sioux Video Webcast Subscriber: Thank you for subscribing to the Fighting Sioux Video Webcast Network. If you signed up for video webcast for last weekend's Fighting Sioux hockey game against Minnesota-Duluth, you may have had difficulty receiving the game. We experienced minor technical difficulties during the webcast of Saturday's game and are currently working to correct the problem. As a result of last week's technical difficulties, we invite you to enjoy Fighting Sioux Video Webcast absolutely free this Saturday, October 11th as the Sioux take on Concordia of Montreal in the second exhibition game of the season. Fighting Sioux Video Webcast - don't miss the action! I got this email today, so hopefully it works this weekend... Quote
sprig Posted October 8, 2003 Posted October 8, 2003 I asked about the Duluth game showing up in the archives, but dataflix only has the last 46 seconds of the game and the postgame. It may show up as a preview. Quote
Shawn-O Posted October 8, 2003 Posted October 8, 2003 Thank you for subscribing to the Fighting Sioux Video Webcast Network. We experienced minor technical difficulties during the webcast of Saturday's game and are currently working to correct the problem. May have had difficulty? Minor technical difficulties? Just apologize and admit that the thing flat out didn't work. I don't mean to be a buster, but I don't think the freebie against Concordia cuts it. If you're serious about winning potential customers back, offer up the Friday BC game. One more thing. The next time someone goes on the radio between periods doing PR for your new product, make sure it's actually working. Quote
U2Bad1 Posted October 8, 2003 Posted October 8, 2003 I am tempted to pony up the 99.99, but am leaning towards tuning into the online radio broadcast for free. Quote
OETKB Posted October 8, 2003 Posted October 8, 2003 The webcast quality of the SCSU football game was excellent. No buffering problems; no commercial interruptions during game time; No interference of game play with the Daktronics bigscreen images. For those of you who are unsure, give this Saturday's game a look. I'm hoping they match the quality of the football broadcasts. Quote
sprig Posted October 10, 2003 Posted October 10, 2003 The preview link on dataflix is now a post-game interview with ZP. Quote
Shawn-O Posted October 11, 2003 Posted October 11, 2003 The webcast seems to be up and running fine tonight. Quote
