GeauxSioux Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Sioux invade BSU's courtNorth Dakota is led by senior forward Kierah Kimbrough. Kimbrough leads the team in points per game with 19.6, rebounds per game with 7.5, blocks per game with 2.7 and field goal percentage, shooting .571 from the floor. Though this is the first meeting of the two teams, both Ball State and North Dakota have played Eastern Michigan University and the University of Toledo this season. Ball State beat Eastern Michigan 62-55 and Toledo 67-53. North Dakota beat Eastern Michigan 80-71 in its first game of the season but lost to Toledo 68-60. Go Sioux!!! Quote
UNDbb Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Sounds like a great match up! I looked up some noteable stats for a few players that seem to be stepping up in recent games (aside from Kimbrough and Guinn which is what we need to win in D-1 games). Youngblut is 7/14 from the 3-pt line in the last 3 games. (50%) Bagaason is 10/17 from the 3-pt line in the last 4 games. (59%) Bergan is 16/38 from the 3-pt line in the last 6 games. (42%) Both LaFrance and Ledger have 31 rebounds in the last 5 games. If those first three players continue to shoot the ball well, and the Bismarck girls continue to get after the boards, I think the Sioux have a great chance of winning! GO SIOUX!!!! Quote
new2sioux2 Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 OT!!! 70-70 Kimbrough fouled out, Bagaasan playing outstanding! Quote
ND Ball Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 It is too bad our All American is sitting on the bench for the most important part of the game - you need to WORK on both ends..................... Quote
ND Ball Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 does anyone know how many turnovers our team had - it sure sounded like Guin and Kimbrough had their share. Quote
