Shawn-O
Well, here it is: http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/ncaa/s...CSFBBracket.pdf Heart says Cal-Poly v SIU in the final. Head says JMU and App State. I really hope the UNI-SIU quarterfinal matchup comes to fruition. Dale will have the opportunity to take the squad to Cedar Falls and do what he was hired to do....win in UNIDome.
dlsiouxfan
I think it's Cal Poly's year. SIU's inexperience and inconsistency will be their downfall in a first round loss to New Hampshire. JMU, App State, Cal Poly, and UNI will be in the final four.
WYOBISONMAN
I will be pulling for Poly. They were great conference mates and a hell of a FB program.
Smoggy
Looks like Lennon's boys have scored in the 4th but are still down 26 - 20.
bincitysioux
Some notable results from FCS Playoff Action today: Cal Poly lost to Weber St. Southern Illinois fell to New Hampshire Montana beat Texas St. Northern Iowa throttled Maine Appalachian St., James Madison, Richmond, and Villanova all also moved on to the second round. I'm kind of bummed that SIU got knocked off in the first round. I am shocked that Weber handled Cal Poly in SLO by two touchdowns. Weber is very good this year, but I thought Poly was firing on all cylinders coming into this game. As tough as they played Wisconsin, maybe playing a Big 10 team the week before the playoffs start had an adverse effect. With SIU and Cal Poly out, I'm pulling for UNI the rest of the way. I'd love to see an all "Western" championship between UNI and Montana. Kinda like an all WCHA Frozen Four a few years ago, really stick it to the east-coasters. bincitysioux
Richmond defeated UNI in the UNI-Dome, coming from behind for the 21-20 win. Montana beat James Madison. Montana v. Richmond for all the marbles.
