That was in today Dakota Student as well...

im scratching my head, trying to figure what it all means.

I don't have time to fully read the entire document as this time, bur the last part of the document requests that the settlement be set aside and requests that the suit be brought to trial for final closure of the matter. Gordon Caldis has been very involved in the suit, with his firm handling the lawsuit donation fund.

And please tell me why that dumbass AG Wayne Stenjum (sp?) gave up and said the Sioux had 3 years to get tribal approval or change the name when this document proves that the NCAA and the those tribes have no right to mess with the name. WTF??? :(

That isn't a legal document. It is a proposal that Mr. Caldis has put in front of the State Board of Higher Education. There is a story on the proposal in the Saturday edition of the Grand Forks Herald. He believes that under North Dakota state law the SBoHE could set aside the settlement within 1 year if they want to. This doesn't prove anything, it is one man's opinion.
