Agree.

I think backing down on the physical play was the right decision. What beat CC yesterday? Powerplays. What beat SCSU? (other than the fact they are SCSU) PPG. Yes, it took us off our game but we didn't give them PP's.

In a strange way, I'm OK with allowing the last minute goal. Maybe put a little anger back in the locker room.

Maybe it will wake them up and remind them that they really do need to play the FULL 60 minutes!! Could have and probably should have been a much closer game, scorewise, than what it was. . . All Hail Lammy!! That goal could have been a deciding factor or even sent us home. Maybe they will think about that, and yes, put the anger back in the locker room!! On that note - GO SIOUX!! Fix the problems and come out flying tomorrow night!!!

What a great, great effort by Princeton. Hak said last week the team that plays better wins 90% of the time. How often have they lost 5-1?

That said, would you rather they played like crap and won, or played great and had the season end? There are no style points now, only staying alive.

I wonder if trying to stay out of the box took some of their aggressiveness away. That will probably return with a WCHA opponent tomorrow.

Nice to see Duncan visit his office again.

The Sioux never score empty-netters, so that was nice.

Especially considering all the upsets yesterday. Early in the season I get upset when the Sioux doesn't play well but still wins because it could be an indicator of things to come later in the year. This time of year, it's all about getting a win today because there is no guarantee of a tomorrow.

For those without ESPNU here is a way to watch the game:

You need to have both the VLC media player and Sopcast installed

http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

http://www.sopcast.org/

Once you have both programs installed:

Open this sopcast stream: sop://broker.sopcast.com:3912/22668 (can do this in a new browser [at least on firefox] by copy and pasting in the html bar)

Once you have a solid sopcast connection, open the VLC media player and go to File/Open Network Stream

Go to the network tab and enter http:// 127.0.0.1:8902 (without the space after http://) in the HTTP/HTTPS/FTP/MMS field

Click OK

Do not close sopcast once the feed starts in VLC.
