I was reading an article on rivals.com and they say that Michigan is #1 in alums in the NHL. I was just wondering how many they had and who would come in 2nd?

Are you wondering about how many are currently in the NHL or how many they've had in the history of the program?

Currently: (I think this is accurate)

19-Michigan

15-Boston University

13-Boston College

13-Maine

13-Michigan State

13-Wisconsin

11-Minnesota

11-North Dakota

Historically, I'm too lazy to look or compile.

Comon! You were ambitious enough to compile this list! You're.... 1/100th of the way there! :)

Actually, that list I found on another website and it's not exactly right (the list covered the 06 season), so I did one myself.

As of today there are 186 former NCAA players on NHL rosters. The teams with the most players are:

Michigan-16

Wisconsin-15

Boston College-13

Boston University-11

Michigan State-11

North Dakota-11

Minnesota-9

Shocking results to all I'm sure.

I think I'll change my nickname to 11>9.
