ebay some appear to be pretty reasonable http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?f...&category0=
-
um - thanks - good to know.
-
wow - already ok - lets go home
-
Malone has to watch the knee checks - he seems to get one most games - whether they are called or not. I also have to believe that Sconny will not leaves Duncs alone on the weakside PP like Princeton did. that being said - Sconny does not have the guns to keep up -- Sioux win 4-1
-
this is going to be embarresing for minny - they wasted time and money for this game to end their season
-
sorry to interrupt but why was there only 2000 people at this (check thread title) game? I thought the badger faithful were supposed to show up - did the NC$$ make a mistake even though they tried their best by awarding Sconny a spot?
-
well - they apparently have recognized their mistake as it is now DU at -110 and dropping. Must have read Dave's column. Good thing I "made the call" earlier.
-
I see a Sioux PP coming very soon
-
Looks like men against boys at this point - and what looks like to be only 2500 folks in the stands
-
I have to believe that Dave is shrewder than the odds makers this week.
-
well - that makes me feel better about the Sioux game then as these odds makers are usually pretty shrewd Sconny should be well rested though
-
There are lines on the two games in Madison today - nothing for the other games yet. N.D. is the heavy favorite at -320 (bet 10 to win 13.10) what is surprizing to me is that Sconny is favored over DU DU is at +125 (10 to win 22.50) can't believe all the red/white in the stands can help Sconny that much - they shouldn't even be playing as far as I'm concerned. fyi - the over an under was 5 1/2 for our game and 5 for the other. oh yes - gambling is legal if done through certain and specific venues.
-
Yep - and last Sunday after the pairing were announced - what-his-name on ESPN said "watch out North Dakota" twice "as this is a very good Princeton team" that being said - 3-1 Sioux.
-
After last weekend - I'm in the mood to watch the games with friends and fellow fans. Think I'll head to Sensers tomorrow.
-
What is the latest on Trupp? I've been resigned to the thoughts thst he is out for the season. Is that true?
-
yep - and all the goph fans in my area were cheering for Denver on Friday - maybe because they did not want to have to play the mean Sioux team or perhaps they cheer against a team out of respect for them - naw. anyway I feel that if you don't have a dog in the fight, cheering for a team to lose simply makes you look like a jerk and there were alot of them around this weekend. I wish we would drop all the Holy Cross stuff - it may have been fun for awhile but it is actually kind of embarassing now. I think the worst thing I said to one of the goph fans Sat. night was "Do you actually think your going to win this game?"
-
off the topic alittle but Sweeny said that this is the last year of their contract with FSSN and hopes that they will be back nest year. I got the impression that somebody would air the games but it may not be WDAZ - does anybody know anything about this? Sprig - Iceberg?
-
yes to both questions and you will be getting a letter from the X in November giving you the opportinity to renew your seats.
-
you must like Gorg as well then as he is much more transparent
-
nobody here gives a damn what you think I realize that your pretty happy and you should be - but mature up alittle
-
rail tickets are great - nice job.
-
he's right it's not much worse then before the bridge collapse as it was always bad. But if it snows - no route is good as this town does not move unless the weather and road conditions are perfect. just heard - sounds like snow on Friday now. May stay south of the metro though - following most of the other systems that occured this winter.
-
actually - its just like the typical metropolitan minnesota fan behavior - good thing they have alot of teams to follow.
-
I agree - that 1st O.T.had so many blattant Goph penalties that were not called that even Woog said "this is wrong". Frank of course just shrugged it off as normal - naturally. I thought then and there that Mankato would need to take some liberties of their own - but never did. I also thought that if they would be called for a penalty - Jutting would have an aneurism (maybe even flip off the ref) - as would I. Well they were (non-contact of course) and the rest is poetic justice.
