  1. US with a penalty, PP Sweden
  2. Skille hits the crossbar...Later Okposo feeds Lewis who walks in and hits the post. Still 2-1 US
  3. Can someone toss on here the link to watch US vs. Sweden please?
  4. I don't think it's clear at all that Tyler was a "cancer", a pretty offensive and loaded term. What's clear is that he wasn't living up to the expectations of the coaching staff and that's it. Everything else is speculation. It's ok to speculate but IMHO drawing such a conclusion as you did is unfounded.
  5. What an amazing talent to watch. I feel fortunate to have seen him play for the past few years. I will remember quick hands, hockey sense and great vision. My prayers are with you Tyler.
  6. IMHO if you expect the Sioux to dominate this game you will be disappointed. I say this for a couple of reasons: 1. Look at the U18's record against good college teams. They won't be intimidated. 2. This is a tough game for the Sioux to get up for. It's just an exhibition game and generally those that haven't received much ice time get their chance to shine. I could be wrong, but I expect it to be close.
  7. WCHA fantasy hockey players care, shame on you!
  8. Yeah, the Minny boosters do a great job of paying off the refs.

I bet if you looked up how good teams fare in Alaska you would be surprised. The Gophers traditionally drop at least one game up there. Now add to the mix that AA is improved and I am not that surprised with last weekends results. AA is playing with confidence right now, for some reason the Sioux are not.
  10. I think it's Kessells fault.
  11. TH hasn't updated it yet. This is important for some of us.
  12. It should have been a penalty. Ask the Sioux fans though, ADAM is just bad. Guentzel between periods said that he had never seen a ref change his mind 4 times on one call. (referring to the player leaving the bench early)
  13. Doggies make a nice play, 3-1 Gophers.
  14. I refer you to my "priceless" post on page 1. Your picture may be clear, but everything is sooo black and white, especially concerning the Gophers.
  15. Did anyone else watch Stoa undress Niskanen? 3-0 Gophers
  16. Is mine the only feed that gets grainy full-screen? Don't get me wrong, it rocks to just be able to watch the game. I'm just asking.
  17. Chorney got caught pinching.
  18. Raymond with a 5 minute CFB and gets tossed. It looked kind of weak.
  19. I love it when the gophers and Sioux start 30 minutes apart, it optimizes viewing!
  20. Easy now....I got a point from Barriball!
  21. My starting lineup: Pizza..check Beer...check Gophers vs. Dogs on FSN...check UND vs. JBSU video feed...check Wisco vs. AA video feed...check Another weekend of WCHA hockey.....PRICELESS!
  22. Wake me up when this is over! I think the comparison of Maine and Wisconsin is a good one. Very similar close checking style. I look for UND to split or get win/tie this weekend. Low scoring though, winning team with 3 goals max.
  23. Look at the language describing Carman's actions, "goonery", "bush league tactics", "running the goaltender". All from people that I assume never saw the play. There is a big difference between charging hard to the net (the way Carman's actions were described) and running a goaltender with intent to inflict physical harm. Some posters assumed Carman did the latter without any evidence. Especially you RedWing, you hoped that he got sat and went on a rant about running the goaltender. Did you see the play? As for Lucia, IMO he is not different than any other coach on this matter. No coach enjoys watching his tender take hits, even if they are clean.
  24. I don't understand what the big deal is. First off, I watched the whole UND vs. Bucky game and didn't see any "dirty" hits from either side. As for the Gopher game, I doubt anyone can really comment first-hand unless they were at the game(no TV). From the accounts I have read, Carman was charging the net, not running the goalie. That is a play that any fan wants their team to do but at all costs wants to avoid having done to them. Again, I don't think it was dirty, just aggressive. Finally, Flynn's reaction brought a smile to Lucia's face because it showed that he had Carman's back. In my opinion that pleased tDon because it signalled to him that this team may have more chemistry and comraderie(sp) than some in the past. Being a little soft was a consistent and realistic criticism of the Gophers recently, especially last year. You can be tough without being dirty, don't you think?
